Abby fears being a burden to her husband and family. And hearing her express her concern for him and the children. They are both stubborn but Chad was having none of it. How cute would it be to see Jack and Jenn spending time with their grand babies.

I'm not familiar with all of Jack's history LoveBO but didn't he sometimes feel as if he wasn't good enough for Jennifer and feel as if he let the kids down? Or am I totally off there?

Yeah, it took Jack a long time to believe he was good enough for Jen. She constantly reminded him he was worthy of love despite the man who raised him, and who his biological father was.

Abby got sick when she was a baby, and it turned out Jack was part owner of toxic waste site that cause Abby to developed aplastic anemia. He felt so guilty that he left Jen and Abby. After JJ was born , Jack left on some assignment and Jen thought he had abandoned them, but it turned out that he was held hostage in Afghanistan.

Yeah, Jack carrys a lot guilt thinking he let his kids down.

I suspect it's him simply because he's in constant contact with Abby... They suspected Gabi drugged the wine. Well if she didn't who else was there? Chad. Who's been by her side the entire time she's been in the hospital? Chad. Here is a thought. What if someone (Rolf?) Did something to Chad so if he's in contact with Abby it makes her sick but it doesn't affect Chad the same way? What a way to get revenge on Abby. Make it impossible for her to be with the man she loves because physical contact makes her go crazy.

According to the Show, she is having hallucinations due to being drugged.

Abby is seen telling Stefan that he raped her. When she sees Gabi, Gabi is drugging her or someone near her. Ben is seen trying to hurt Ciara, and Orpheus is hurting her mother. Maybe she is hallucinating these people because she has deep seeded feelings about these issues, plus regret for not pressing charges on these people for what they did to her. Maybe she is dealing with some hurt over being too kindhearted to them when they weren’t to her. tiff5555 JMHO

Abby_fan That could be a factor that she is kind hearted, but she caused a mess with Ben, Gabi and Stefan. Ben told her to leave him back in 2015, she did not. She put the crime on Gabi, cuz she felt that the citizens view Gabi as a bad person or this is what Gabi does, because of Gabi’s past. Stefan, she may felt bitter that her alter was with him. And that she did used him to get her out of the mental ward. I feel with these hallucinations, she may not want to admit this, but who knows. It may not go the way I see it. It may have to do with Chad, that someone is after his empire. It may be Andre from the dead who wants revenge.

She should have stood her ground too. This is her health at stake and something isn't right with Chad. From her reactions during various hospital scenes I really get the feeling she doesn't believe Gabi poisoned her but for some reason she won't speak up. Almost like she doesn't want to voice doubt in front of Chad.

Abby_fan I noticed it another time too. When it was revealed that the poison was being developed by DiMera by scientists who, conveniently, didn't know anything about what it did. Chad was going on about how Gabi had access to it and how it must have been her. Abigail was making a very similar look that day to the ones she made yesterday. It really has me curious about what she's thinking.

If I were Abby I would be so angry that Chad could make decisions about me - specifically whether he would accompany me or not. If Abby requested/demanded he not accompany her - he shouldn't.

Abby does not want to feel like a burden to Chad. Chad loves Abby’ and is proving to her that she is not a burden to him.

As a supportive, married couples, Chad and Abby were having a disagreement, but came to a compromise. Abby was happy for Chad to accompany her once she found out that he didn’t see her as a burden and that her lovely children would be with Jack and Jennifer.

For the first time in years, I am rooting for Chad DiMera, so I know he must be doing the right thing where Abigail is concern.

Chad should be with his sick wife. Nothing unusual about that. That is what normal spouses do for each other. Why is Chad being praised for doing the right thing? Any decent husband would do the same.

I praise him because I normally don’t like anything Chad does. But not all husbands do the right thing. Chad, however, is. Chad could have decided to let Abby go alone, especially since she asked him too and he has a whole company to run. Men put work ahead of family all the time.

Nothing better then Chad declaring his love and commitment to the love of his life. And Chabby always have the best banter when they are protecting each other. Abby is so much like Jack and Steve and always chooses not to be a burden! So far this good by (because of the great acting) has been so much better then I expected!!
