According to Soap Opera Digest, Allie Horton will arrive on Uncle Eric's door step. She is a teenager with much drama in her life. She causes turmoil for Eric & Nicole. Apparently, Allie and Sami have a rocky relationship. This may explain Sami's arrival in late August.

The name of the actress portraying Allie, and her first screen date have not been announced.

Sydney would have been the right choice because Allie, was a nice girl. Did heard that Allie was drinking...so this will be interesting. And that Lucas will be back, that is also a plus.

There was nothing in the SOD article about Lucas returning. Daytime Royalty has Lucas returning in June for a brief visit, though.

We know I am a HUGE EJAMI fan, but I like the idea of Allie returning. She will probably be a mini, Sami. I would like to see EJ & Sami's children return at some point also. I honestly believe with EJ being alive, the character will return with a recast at some point.

I don't know if Days will recast on EJ. If they do, Alison Sweeney has to represent! I don't want to see a recast of Sami either. I barely am interested in Kristen’s recast

Days will definitely not recast Sami. I see an EJ recast as a recurring character like Sami. Days did not have to profess EJ being alive and burned badly. It would make no sense, if they did not recast EJ, and bring the character back to surface with a new face. I definitely see that happening. When is the mystery question? The recast will be kept top secret, because of the controversy it will cause.

I’m all for Sami’s children showing up in Salem. It’s better than them creating new characters that have no direction/purpose.

Plus, with Will Horton leaving the canvas soon, it’s nice to have at least one of Sami’s kids leaving a lasting legacy.

Sydney has more history with Nicole, but I doubt they’re ready to SORAS that character just yet, especially when Lumi’s daughter is older and has yet to be explored. I’d love for Johnny to make an appearance sometime.

In the Eric/Nicole section of the summer preview, there’s a line at the end re: Allie’s return that I haven’t seen posted elsewhere:

“Besides Eric and Nicole, it will ultimately pull Lucas and Sonny and Will and Rafe into her story.”

Seems rather odd that Ericole are the ones that have to deal with Allie but I don't mind the idea of Sami's daughter tormenting Nicole but I figured it would be Sydney then again she may actually like Nicole compared to Allie..

That being said these type of storylines are the ones Days needs to tell...
