  • I have always like the Patch Vs Orpheus feud

Patch has been a thorn in Orpheus's side since 1986 they make great enemies if there is anyone Orpheus should hate is him because he has ruined Orpheus plans each time when they have come face to face and Patch is the one who shot him in 2016 when they struggled for the gun. I am glad that they ended the Stefano story so he could be involved in this one..

I love it too. Makes me remember the 80s when the writing at Days watch top notch.

No, the first person he'd have a grudge against is the person who killed his wife. That is Roman. Steve helped thwart his Stockholm plans in 1986, but he didn't have a single scene with him in 1987. Because it wasn't personal with Steve.

No denying, though, that with the 2016 shooting he'd have more of a reason to hate him now. Still don't think it would top his hatred of Roman. That incident ruined his life. But my opinion is based on the motivations of the character as established in the 80s. I'm not sure how concerned the creative people are with that at this point.

I tried going and back at that storyline and couldn't find anything but this. I wish I could watch all the ins and outs again concerning Orpheus Jon, and the three knives. Orpheus was the best villain in my opinion.

You are right about Roman it's frusrating that once again there will be no scenes with him and Roman since he is the one who killed Orpheus's wife.

I keep saying this. I really like the actor. However, he was never a long term villain. Maybe 6 months the first time, but not in a ton of episodes in 87. The Stockholm part of 1986 he was on a lot. Then in 2016 maybe a couple of months. I loved watching him, but nowhere near the tenure of a lot of villains. Not just Stefano and Victor.

The fact that Orpheus killed Steve's sister will bring the hate between them to a whole new level

I agree, there is so much potential. I’ve been disappointed in Orpheus’ return, along with his kids. Orpheus’ character is so much better than we’ve been given.

Good point. I had forgotten about that in my last post. I was thinking from Orpheus' end. But from Steve's end, this would make it really, really personal.

They both have good reasons to hate each other more then anyone right now.

Steve will never let Orpheus get away with killing Adrienne.

I'm sure not going that far. Orpheus does not have more reason to hate Steve than the guy who killed his wife. But it should now be incredibly personal for Steve.

Yeah, Steve shot him in a struggle trying to keep him from burning Marlena and Kayla alive. His wife was an innocent who got killed. Accidentally, no doubt, bu still innocent. In my mind, no doubt, that trumps anything Steve ever did to him.

It was before my time. But it sounds like it's going to be really good. Def better than what's happening now. The flashbacks were way more interesting than the current storyline.

But wasn't it you know...the real Roman who did that?

Supposed to be. The show doesn't seem to want to remember, though. But my point was I think that act, for Orpheus, would trump what Steve did to him in 2016. For Steve, it got a lot more personal. That was clear in Friday's show.
