Poll: Which year range includes the year you started watching Days?

I’ve seen versions of this thread throughout the years, but I’ve always been curious about it in poll form to actually get a visual picture.

When did you first start watching Days?

I think I started watching during the Vivian buries Carly alive storyline.

Started watching mid to late 80’s. Those were the best of Days...plots, villains, and actual super couples!

I started watching Days in the last few months of Marlena and the original Roman were together and Roman was supposedly killed. I have always been a Marlena fan and still am. Before that I had watched Days here and there but when they brought The Pawn who turned out to first thought to be Roman then John Black I became a everyday fan. I will always be a fan of John and Marlena. I loved the way Days had the ability to form the best Super Couples Bo and Hope, Shane and Kim, Kayla and Steve, Marlena and John.

I know I saw episodes on occasion at my friend's house in 1982/83. But I didn't really start paying attention to the show and putting it on for myself until Shane and Kimberly started and wasn't a devoted fan until Steve and Kayla.

When I started in 1966 Julie was 16 and living with Alice and Tom. She was a troublemaker then. But after 9 years of not watching, I started again in 1975 and have watched every day since. What great joy it has brought me through the years.

Started watching in late 1983 with my mom, really got hooked on the show in 1984.

Came in 1994 or 1995 because of my cousin and started watching after 1995. Chose 1996 on the poll. Basically I am a long time viewer now. I have experience some of the stories that was shown on Days. Most of them blurry now because it’s been such a long time. There are things that you know learn and love from Days. Pretty sure all have experienced the wonderful things from Days

1998, I was 10 years old and started watching with my mother (who has now passed away) so the show is pretty special to me!

Early 2000s... I watched for the Last Blast crew. My favorite couples were Shawn/Belle and Brady/Chloe.

I also ended up loving Bope, JnJ, Jarlena, and Stayla... and back then people were allowed to upload videos to youtube without anyone taking them down, so I was able to pretty much watch all the big stories online.

Then Chad and Abby happened... and that was that. I got to see their entire story unfold live from their first meeting when she pretended to bump into him at the Java Cafe to the birth of their two kids!

I wish the show could be as good as it was back then.

Just curious, do you still want some version of Broe to continue by having this version of Brady paired with Chloe?

What’s your take on Phloe?

Ugh, I hope they don’t pair Rex with Brady. Broe was very special to me. They were the first couple I rooted for but their love story is in the past now that they completely changed Brady. I think pairing Rex and Chloe would ruin Broes history and confuse viewers. It would be like when they brought WN to play Alex North and paired him with Marlena and they even used Marlena and John flashbacks. I would rather see Philip and Chloe reunite.

I said 90-95 but I would watch earlier than that when my great aunt was babysitting me and my cousins. But that was really sporadic.
