Sick of Ciara portrayed as Sex object

Weren't they both supposed to be looking for work? I missed a few episodes, did she mention getting a job again? Set up some interviews? Voice an interest in a career?

Why are they portraying this beautiful and talented young lady as a mere sex object. She is young and Intelligent and should have a job/career and stop mothering and protecting Ben. Let Ben handle his own business, Man up Ben. CIARA Stay off his job. Ben use an uber to get around, so Ciara can Go to her own job or school! How are you guys even thinking of planning a wedding? You're living in a hotel. ??

I am a firm believer that a woman should make a great life for herself before inviting a man to join her. This woman was given a job that she didn't earn (and never shows up for) and lives with a former serial killer who gave her a part from her carburetor as an engagement ring. Where is her mama? Where is a strong aunt or better yet an uncle who can set her mind straight?

^^Hope nor Shawn would ever turn their back on Ciara. Hope can only keep an eye on her if she is in Ciara's life. She would be more worried
if she never had any contact with Ciara. Plus, how lonely, to never have contact with your child.

It is sad to think of all the times that Ciara has been affected by her parents' lives. The kid has taken the brunt of basically every enemy or bad decision they (her parents) have had/made. I feel sorry for her in that respect.

They have sex, they make out everywhere, they make out in the shower. That's all they can think for them to do. They don't even talk to each other except for a few primal grunts that mean jump on my bones and have hot sex with me. I think they need a bucket of cold water thrown on them and then a proper story.

Ciara is an important character on Days simply because she is Hope and Bo's daughter but the lack of a decent story for her is troublesome. She has been reduced to a young woman who wears clothes that are too tight, too low cut, too "in the camera's face" with an attempt at being sexy which fails because that person isn't our Ciara. Come on days! We watched this girl grow up and the lazy, condescending (calling Ben my "grease monkey") young woman is becoming someone to fast forward over. Ben has more chemistry with Stefan than he exhibits with Ciara. Write the girl a storyline, please.

I think she brings a lot to Days. She's a loving, compassionate, and fiercely loyal daughter, granddaughter, friend, and fiancee. She'd go to the ends of the earth for someone she cares about. She forgave the niece who tried to kill her..she forgave her [email protected] grandfather for being what he is....she was even at the same party with Jordan, who tried to burn her alive. She forgave that wimp Tripp, who perpetually placed his tongue down Claire's throat....and whom she caught under a blanket playing pin-my-tail-in-the-dumb-brat Brady. I like Ciara....she's got a lot of very good qualities....Days needs more like her.

Fiercely loyal daughter? Hope was taken over by Princess Gina for a year and her “fiercely loyal daughter” did not even notice. For the rest, I sort of agree with you, except for the Claire part since Ciara vowed to ruin Claire’s life.

So disloyalty and inattentiveness are one and the same? (I seem to remember Ciara asking Hope to lunch, calling Hope, but Gina/Hope had no interest in interaction with Ciara). I guarantee you that if anyone wanted to hurt Hope, Ciara would do ANYTHING to protect her mother.

Good point. Her sex scenes with Tripp (bare leg, blanket clutching, marathon sex, not even stopping to eat, etc) were widely acceptable, though....but I kinda agree, she needs a career, or a hobby. And just as soon as Ron reads this thread, I'm sure he'll write her one. What types of things would she be good at? Now, no-one should say fellatio....that's an absolute no-no. ??

I did not considered her a sex object. I guess Days is creating love in the afternoon on the show. Apparently it's more like news in the afternoon cuz I see the governor every single day, than Days, lol!

I thought about the string Ridge tied around Katie's finger and you know what happened to them. Money saved. CIN is suppose to be madly in love though so Ben should have coughed up 20 grand for her. This guy removed a washer from Bo's bike and stuck it on her finger.
