Why are they portraying this beautiful and talented young lady as a mere sex object. She is young and Intelligent and should have a job/career and stop mothering and protecting Ben. Let Ben handle his own business, Man up Ben. CIARA Stay off his job. Ben use an uber to get around, so Ciara can Go to her own job or school! How are you guys even thinking of planning a wedding? You're living in a hotel. ??

I did not considered her a sex object. I guess Days is creating love in the afternoon on the show. Apparently it's more like news in the afternoon cuz I see the governor every single day, than Days, lol! -
If Ciara's a sex object, what is Nicole? Or Kate? Or Sarah, who slept with a variety of guys, and had a problem figuring out who the daddy was? Ciara is around 23 or 24, and has had two lovers....both of whom she has been committed to. She's neither a sex object, nor a wh*re.Comment

I think OP meant that all Ciara does is hang around Ben instead of being shown to be a successful career women of her own. -
Did Ciara sleep with Theo too? I don't remember if she did. She was about to sleep with Tripp but they were interrupted, as far as I remember. She's dated four guys, Theo, Wyatt, Tripp and Ben. -
She slept with Tripp and Ben. I believe she was set up with Wyatt as a diversionary tactic by Claire & Theo, or Tripp & Claire. Did she ever date Theo, though? And by the way, I can read. The term 'sex object' was used....not pest, or annoyance, or flirt. Marlena, Kayla, and Sarah are shown as career women, but seem to leave their careers on whims whenever they want to. Usually to follow their lovers around. Not so much different than Ciara.

So tired of her being portrayed as so one dimensional. She and Ben always in bed. I recall that She and Tripp stayed in bed for a week once. If she has skills for mechanics, use them, maybe a detective. like her father, mother, and brother! But get a life. You can have responsibility, sexuality and love. But some direction is necessary for ones livelihood. " She is too beautiful and talented to be portrayed so shallow" Just my opinion, been a viewer since Hope was a teen.and great acting and storylines reigned in daytime television!Comment

I think she brings a lot to Days. She's a loving, compassionate, and fiercely loyal daughter, granddaughter, friend, and fiancee. She'd go to the ends of the earth for someone she cares about. She forgave the niece who tried to kill her..she forgave her [email protected] grandfather for being what he is....she was even at the same party with Jordan, who tried to burn her alive. She forgave that wimp Tripp, who perpetually placed his tongue down Claire's throat....and whom she caught under a blanket playing pin-my-tail-in-the-dumb-brat Brady. I like Ciara....she's got a lot of very good qualities....Days needs more like her.Comment

I just don't see the appeal of Ben, or his personality, plus his past is so egregious that I don't find him interesting to watch. This version of Ciara
doesn't carry well the characteristics of the younger version, so she isn't interesting either. They have their fans, and it's easy to just skip their
scenes unless they involve others I want to see.Comment

I do not believe Ciara is being treated as a sex object. They are in love and they love to be with each other in every way. That is what love is of course. They could get rid of this by having Ben have a dream and realize he didn't kill anyone. He could get Clyde to admit he used the murders to control Ben. Ron has this awful fascination of making serial killers main characters. Families of murdered victims have a right to get justice and not see the killer turned into town hero.Comment

Just because her and Ben have sex a lot doesn’t mean she’s a sex object that logic is so misogynistic, the only time Ciara has came to Ben’s job is cause they’ve made plans for her to be there so they go to their plans they made earlier in the day so stop acting like she’s at his job all day everyday cause she is not . The girl has a life outside of Ben , the past few weeks Ciara has been more time with her family then with Ben and she has a job and has been looking for a new job and she pays for the hotel , their bills as if we haven’t seen her and Ben talking about that . Ciara is nothing more than a Ben prop and Cin prop. It's obvious they care nothing about the character of Ciara, because all they do with her is have her having sex with Ben, or following him around town as his defender and cheerleader. She has no life outside of Ben.Comment

Ciara is Ben's only reason for staying sane. That doesn't say much for him or them as a couple. Ciara has no life outside of Ben, so this post pretty much says it all, she's used as a sex object for disgusting Cin sex and nothing more. -

TheMartins4Life I think you're missing the point. What this post is saying is that Ciara has no life outside of Ben or having sex with Ben. The character of Ciara needs to be given some depth outside of being Ben's sexual partner and cheerleader. She doesn't go to school, she doesn't have a job, she barely sees her mom. More needs to be done with Ciara, outside of Ben.
