  • Shocked to see Justin at Adrienne's grave

He has Kayla on the brain so much now that I was actually pleasantly surprised to see him remember his late wife's death. Didn't like the PDA at the Pub though thankfully I could ff that until Steve and Hope arrived.

    Thoughts?

I want Adrienne back so bad, and I want her to reject Justin. Lol.

I'm hoping they are heading in that direction and that she will be back eventually. But I know, that's another back from the dead story.

What did Justin do to Adrienne that she should reject him?

Adrienne was Justin’s wife for years. They raised a family together. Of course he would be there. Now Kayla being there was a surprise to me. Loved that Kayla is still trying to give them a chance.

Kayla is being ridiculous and she's acting out of spite. This is an exact carbon copy of the 80s when Steve pushed her away and she actually married Jack just to spite Steve.

I was rooting so hard for Jack and Kayla until he raped her. I guess I never wanted Kayla and Steve to be a couple. Harmonica1985 Maybe Steve and Kayla should not be a together.

I can't stand this version of Kayla, I just can't stand her.

I feel the same way. She's using Justin and it's super petty on her part.

Of course Justin would visit Adrienne's grave. Nothing unusual about that. He loved and continues to love her. That is no secret! Kayla knows his feelings for Adrienne, which he never kept a secret. Everyone in Salem knows his love for Adrienne. Happy to see Kayla at the grave site also. She & Adrienne were good friends. Steve & Hope at gravesite was also touching. A nice tribute in memory of Adrienne.

It was nice to hear Justin say that just because you lose someone, the feelings don't stop. Too many times that is what has made me
the angriest, writers making it seem like out of sight, out of mind.

Lip service from Justin since he wasted no time jumping into bed with Kayla.

The scene was very nice and appropriate.

Why wouldn't Justin visit his wife's grave on the anniversary of her death? ? It's weird how Justin is considered a "bad" guy because he dares date Kayla. I never knew widowers were not allowed to find love or happiness again.

They haven't shown any true grief from Justin. It just seems like after only three months he shrugged his shoulders and then hooked up with Kayla. He's hiding from his grief instead of actually facing it and for me That's why I find him and Kayla so wrong and offensive. I would have loved to see them supporting each other as friends and family without any physical stuff between them. It is very lazy writing.

Harmonica1985 Agree to disagree. Nothing is wrong with Jayla.

Agree to disagree. Everything is wrong with them as a couple for me.

I was glad he was there, but watching him and Kayla talk at her grave bugged me. Can you make it about Adrienne, please/ She only died a year ago

I felt the exact same way. Kayla should not have been there. Neither should Hope, for that matter. It should have been Justin alone then Steve arriving and the two saying something or maybe just sharing a look before Justin left Steve alone. Kayla and Hope both were extras that took away from the scenes.

I didn't have any issue with Hope being there because they are such close friends. If Justin and Kayla were still just friends her being there would not have bothered me.

Yea. At least hope was trying to support Steve.

When this scene opened and I saw that it was Justin caressing Adrienne's gravestone my heart skipped a beat watching him in this loving, quiet moment speaking to her, it was everything, it was about time and I wanted much more.

When Kayla arrived I was saddened and disappointed. My heartfelt scene was over as quick as it began and it made me angry.

I wished if anyone had come that it would have been Steve alone or with Jack. Justin and Steve's scenes always lit up the screen and there at Adrienne's grave could have been these men whom she loved dearly and them her, remembering her for just a moment together.

I didn't mind Hope being there with Steve but it was highly inappropriate for Kayla to be there with Justin. Also not having Jack there was just wrong.

I couldn't stand the cold way Kayla treated Steve. He just found out his sister was dead. It was the first time he visited her grave. She and Justin have known for a year, and yet Kayla couldn't spare a second to say she was sorry for his loss to Steve. Her pesty lingering feelings for Steve were bothering her so she grabbed a hold of Justin and left. I think Justin and Steve could have had a decent talk about Adrienne if she wasn't there.

There has been nothing right about this story from the beginning starting when they killed Adrienne, so why should the writers start now.

That is very true. The story is very dumb and badly written.

According to Corday's May sweeps, Justin goes to Adrienne's grave to ask her permission to marry Kayla, so will Kayla again be there with him now that they are joined at the hip so they can tell Adrienne how much they are in love. My sarcasm is abundant when I see the writers can't stay away from making a fool of Justin in this story.

I agree Justin is being made into a fool and it isn't right. Also I have a bad feeling that before it's over they are going to try to turn him into a bonafide villain, but I hope not.
