I don't think he truly believed anything Xander was telling him and he has no reason to believe anything Xander says since he helped still his child he doesn't think he is a reliable to say anything. So he probably doesn't care right now because he doesn't believe what Xander says. I get why Brady let Kristen go with his daughter. He loves Kristen and he knows how much Kristen has always wanted a child. He was not going to let her be separated from their daughter.

I was sorta surprised and wondering why Xander even told him in the first place, if it gets back to Sarah it's just going to make him look even worse in her eyes since he was going to help Kristen do it. I know he was just telling him to make kristen look bad to Brady and to be hurtful but I think it will just make it worse for him in the long run and he should have kept his mouth closed.

Kristen's crimes and misdeeds do not count in Brady's mind. He either justifies them or reduces them to nothing. He says she's changed, she attempts to murder Victor and is all set to finish the job, and he twists it around in his mind so that she didn't do anything bad. Even going so far as to get himself thrown in prison. Tate who? What Xander told him was inconvenient to his fantasy. He can't handle that Kristen is a horrible monster. He can't handle that Rachel is only there because Kristen raped him. No, we're supposed to believe he actually loves this horrible woman and genuinely expects everyone around him to just forgive her.

Kristen attempted to take Sarah's baby was never going to matter to Brady. He'd have her painted up as a saint for trying to take an aborted baby as her own.
