The drug story doesn't make sense

Why would Dimera be developing such a drug, especially if it causes people to lose their minds? They have to get FDA approval and this wouldn't.

I thought the drugs wore off, but now, Abby has side effects from them. That would be more tests and more drugs to correct her. Abby for sure does not want to be treated because she fears drugs in her. And that her grandma was crazy too.

This is what I've been thinking - that she's still being given the drug while in the hospital.

Remember Stefano had a lot of control at the hospital. He had toxic gas released in the hospital at least two times. It is probably Vivian because she is suppose to appear in near future. On the other hand, what was Fake Stefano and Rolf talking about before his surgery? I thought it was about the self destruct feature in his chip, but it might have been something else.

If they wanted to make this story somewhat logical they would have her repeatedly drugging herself, because she's still crazy. I could buy that.

I think the issue is that the drug mixed in with Abby's prescription medication and the effect of that combination is what caused the issue.
