Stefano storyline is over now?

So, after all that build-up with Stefano returning in Steve's body, is that story now abandoned - or is Stefano and Gina playing like they're Steve and Hope? If the Stefano plot is over, what was the point? Seems it took months to build the story up, and a couple days to take Stefano down. I would think Stefano would be a bit more of a formidable villain than that. Stefano and Gina have to be playing possum right now so they can start wreaking havoc again soon; otherwise, it seems like shoddy writing from the writing team.

Amen! That story is tied with the Immigration & Garden of Eden stories as the worse story of the time jump and the ratings proved it!

The Garden Of Eden story was the worst story ever it made the immigration and this story look great IMO..

From my perspective, it seems as if the writers are finally returning to more character-based storytelling. I think the post Stefano and Gina-stories are turning out to be far more interesting.

I think Days cut it for now. It might return later. It had potential there. Would like to see Robo Chad return too.

It wasn't abandoned, it came to a conclusion. Steve and Hope are themselves again. I never felt that story was about Stefano, it was about Hope and Steve. Now Hope and Steve move on, and put their lives back together.

yeah, i actually hated it, but then Stefano started challenging Gabi (when she was in charge) and started mind-controlling Chad, and I thought that could have actually been interesting; the whole Marlena angle was unnecessary and too much; but Stefano working to regain control of his company could have been interesting. But just as the plot finally, after tedious months, became interesting when Stefano challenged Gabi, they abruptly ended it. I was hoping after all those months of build-up it would actually develop into something interesting. But no such luck; it was just a giant build-up that ultimately amounted to nothing.
