If that's what she truly believes why did she claim what happened to Daniel was "an accident" and defend Eric to other people?

This is just another entry into my journal of why I cannot with Sarah.
She's so unlikeable. And the amount of time, effort, and attention that is devoted to her is insane to me.

I agree that Sarah is very unlikeable but others seem to dismiss Eric getting drunk and killing Daniel(which should've been Lucas's story instead but I digress). Victor is the only on that hasn't forgiven him.

jollydolly I feel the same and have since Day 1.

Sarah like any other person who has HUMAN emotions. Grief is talking right now and she should rightfully be angry at Maggie. Of course she believes it's unforgivable now and didn't when Eric killed Dr.Perv it didn't immediately affect her. I've been guilty of the same thing something being ok till affects me...it's called being human. Sarah has JUST RECENTLY learned her child died after loving a child that ALMOST died she may have a little PTSD going on. I don't like her but I'm going to cut her a break. She hasn't done half the crap sociopath Gabi has done. FYI part of what makes one a sociopath is having a conscience albeit a weak one and choosing to ignore it...sounds like Gabi to me.

I like this incarnation of Sara. There was never a character more despised by me than that simpering, hypocritical, judgmental , lying jerk she was. This woman has seen the light. I think she would hate Eric now too.

Because she's a hypocrite. It's a common trait among the modern Hortons. She gets to pick and choose who is bad and who is good even when the crimes are the same.
That said, she's also in an extreme level of grief. While the above has been true of her from day one, it's also true that she is angry and in a lot of pain. She's lashing out because anger is a whole lot easier than grief. She's still a judgmental hypocrite at the end of the day, but I can let it go right now. When she's stopped to grieve and process I'm sure she'll find forgiveness for Maggie. If she can forgive and defend the man who killed her sainted brother Dr. Dan, she can forgive her mother.
Who knows, maybe when she'll be the one to figure out it is impossible for Maggie to have run her and Adrienne off the road since they were all going in the same direction and Maggie left long after they did. I mean, SOMEONE has to figure it out.
