The more I watch, the more I see that Lani is doing what she feels is the right thing to do. Only Lani is seriously trying to find Rachel and she is making progress. She is right to handle this on her own to help Kristen. So I am throwing all support to Lani and will defend her from here on out. #teamLani

I think it was on bad judgement of Lani, but I also see that Lani likes Kristen. Overall, Kristen should be in jail of attempted murder of Victor. -
I find that what she does is bad, hypocritical, a cop does not let go of a woman who has tried to kill someone, already that she was unbearable, but it is worse and worse, a idiot.

I am team Lani also she is doing what she thinks is right and is trying to find a baby that no one else seems to be looking for or cares to look for. A sweet baby who is innocent and was stolen from her parents. I get why Lani is doing what she is doing. She is being a cop. Doing her job as a cop means not letting someone who committed attempted murder to be walking around. Kristen should be in a cell and if Lani wants to help her dead baby card playing bestie she could still do that,Comment

I don't think Lani did the right thing being that she is a cop and Kristen did commit a crime but I also understand why she did it. Lani and Kristen have been threw a lot together and are friends I think Lani is also thinking about the baby she lost and how she would feel if someone told her that her baby was really alive but someone ran off with it.Comment

" The audience can say, "yeah Joe is " or they can say, " BS. This is his list of crap he pulled... " Get it yet? Yes, there are good guys on the show along with vixens, villains, etc. That's not what I'm talking about. -
JackandJenfan I do see your point that the audience will have different opinions. I guess I have to be more clear, that I am looking on what Days is telling me solely. Because in the end, Days might not change the direction that I want to see.

If you want to have friends that are crazy criminals that have a rap sheet a mile long than don't be a cop. Lani took an oath to serve and protect. She is doing the opposite of that by helping this criminal. If something bad happens to Sarah I hope Lani is also charge. She will be just as guilty. Lani will learn that Kristen is no one's friend. I will feel a tad bad for Lani when she gets burned by her. I mean she is doing what she thinks is the right thing. If it was anyone but Kristen I could maybe get behind that but... its not... so too me she looks dumb for risking so much to help someone so selfish and evil. There is a reason Skelator doesnt have friends Lani!!Comment

Lani has been burned before thinking she was doing the right thing for someone else. At least Kristen is a friend to Lani and is not blackmailing her to do something against her will. Calling someone Skelator is being rude.
Lani is serving and protecting Kristen. Victor and Xander are free while Eli and Rafe aren’t even considering arresting them for their crime. Lani can arrest Kristen after she has found Baby Rachel and Sarah.
How Lani can be charged for something happening to Sarah, I cannot see it.

Sorry, I can't. I usually love Lani, and I see her sympathy and compassion is leading her here, but it's terribly violated her judgment and her ethics as a police officer. Lani is 100% WRONG here, and there's no justifying it. I don't want her going to prison, because I don't believe prison is where she belongs. She's not a violent, or hardened criminal. She's made a terrible choice, and losing her job should be the worst consequence she deserves. She should be terminated and hopefully she can find other work, and maybe Eli could forgive her for this, but I can't support this horrible decision on her part. Kristen is not worth the loyalty Lani is giving her. What has Kristen done for Lani to ever deserve Lani risking everything for?? Nothing that I can see.Comment

Kristen hasn’t done anything but played on Lani’s sympathies. She used David. But I am going to support Lani because she isn’t hurting anyone. She is trying to help find a baby that has been stolen from a mother at birth and given to another woman. I don’t get why Kristen is being sought out for her wrong doing while Victor and Xander has no consequences. -
Abby_fan Kristen committed attempted murder and it wasn't in self-defense, it was because Kristen doesn't react to things in any sane or rational way. She needs to be held accountable for that. As for Lani, she did commit a crime. She helped a known attempted murderer go free. That's aiding and abetting a known fugitive, which is a crime and also goes against every police code she swore to. She's not just doing this to find the baby, she's doing this to help her so called "friend" although I still don't see why she considers Kristen such a good friend. If Lani wanted to just find the baby, she could have done that without aiding Kristen to go free. Kristen has done nothing for Lani but now has Lani risking her career, freedom and future with Eli. Victor and Xander deserve consequences too, but Kristen also deserves them, and Lani, if she's fired over this, will deserve that too. -
I think it's different because Kristen confessed to Lani and Lani had started reading her her rights. When Hope confessed to Bo about being
Nighttime Hope, he didn't start reading her her rights, to arrest her, but he was trying to find some way around her turning herself in. She
insisted that she turn herself in. I know there are other instances with characters similar, but I felt that even though it was painful for Lani,
she was going to arrest Kristen. When Kristen began talking, I still thought Lani would follow through with what she was doing.
This is something Lani will have to deal with, but she was determined at first to arrest Kristen

Letting a criminal go the way she did is very ilkegal. She's an accomplice to Kristen now and the law won't be kind to her. -
I have a feeling the law will be kind to her but we will see. I hope Eli arrest her and put her in jail. Then she will go to court and be released on probation since this is he first offense. Harmonica1985

I like Lani..She may have to deal with Eli's wrath for a minute but Lani will be given this mistake as a "get out of jail free pass".
