Is it important that Jake be Stefan?

There have been some that have said Jake is dating Chloe and she is coming later. I hope that is not true I want him with Gabi. He did have a look when Ben asked him if he had a woman in his life. And why is he protect Gabi. I think from the people that beat up Ben looking for Jake

I’m liking Jake now as well. Even if he is really Stefan, new memories will most likely be made with Gabriella. As long as he’s with Gabriella no matter how it turns out is what matters!

I am liking Jake so far, but I do believe he will turn out to be Stefan, but no, it wouldn't matter if he didn't. I do see Stefan and Gabi as the new EJ and Sami and look forward to their reunion.

Personally I'm leading towards Jake being an alias Stefan is suing for some reason probably for Gabi's own protection. Buti even if that does turn out to be the case he is definitely going to have in the immortal words of Ricky Richardo -from the television classic "II Love Lucy"- "some s[plaining to do."

JackandJenfan hmm thats a great theory and tbh would make alot of sense. He obviously is hiding something. I just wonder if he knows he is Stefan and is trying to protect Gabi, why would he randomly show up in town? Whatever the case i am here for all of it. This is by far the most intriguing storyline!

Some think he knows he is Stefan and is protecting someone ( mainly Gabi). It is still unclear to me, but I like it.

I’m firmly with you on this one, Troy44! Stefan isn’t worth all the pining Gabi has been doing lately so I would be all for a fresh pairing. I’m already liking Jake a lot more. Only thing I’ll have to overlook is the massive age gap between him and Gabi.

Right now I like him the way he is. Stefan had a lot of baggage due to the rape and wig thing. A true blue collar character is long overdue! Hoping for a good back story.

Okay, so for my part I would not be disappointed, in the end what matters to me is to have BB again, and the duo BB and CB. Today’s episode was great because they were both in there, so imagine with even more moments between them.

I firmly believe that Jake is Stefan. I want him to be Stefan because I’m not ready to give up on Stabi moments, like when Stefan gave Gabi that globe or the fact that he is the one person who has truly accepted Gabi for exactly who she is. Stefan and Gabi were a power couple who backed each other up and schemed together. I want to see more of that! However, I’m a fan of CB and BB working together, so as long as Jake is Gabi’s guy, then I’m okay with it.
