Is it important that Jake be Stefan?

Just to be I'm firmly in the camp that believes Jake will turn out to be Stefan, The show is just dropping too many anvils for that not top be case. I'm talking about things like the "end of Monday's episode and the way he took off when Gabi started recover. And then his reaction when Ben asked if he had a woman. The show isn't exactly being subtle. LOL

With all that being said if somebody ask me the question I in the header to this thread"" Is it important tat Jake be Stefan? I would say no. What I am excited about is seeing Brandon Barish being reunited on screen with Camila Banus. These two have the kind of chemistry that comes alive on screen. I want them to have story lines that are worthy of them and nourish and take advantage of that chemistry. I want them to become the kind of couple that if they aren't on an episode every couple that is featured will a conversation where they wonder how they can be more like Gabi and Stefan./Jake or whoever he may be.

So while I am totally willing to go along with whatever absurdly convoluted explanation they come up with for Stefan's return, I'm equally willing and excited to go along with Gabi sand blue-collar Jake. Just as long as Camila and Brandon are paired on screen.

I adore the actor but I disliked Stefan so much I would be thrilled if he remained as Jake!

For his wife, I have the impression, that he has a girlfriend who will be arriving soon.

Not sure in the end that he be Jake, or do you think he has been Jake since his years away from Gabi, and therefore he had problems during his years of absence.

It doesn't matter if he is Jake or Stefan, Brandon Barash can play everything, very talented, and I expect even more scenes, moments, intrigue around Jake / Stefan and Gabi.

Okay, so for my part I would not be disappointed, in the end what matters to me is to have BB again, and the duo BB and CB. Today’s episode was great because they were both in there, so imagine with even more moments between them.

I firmly believe that Jake is Stefan. I want him to be Stefan because I’m not ready to give up on Stabi moments, like when Stefan gave Gabi that globe or the fact that he is the one person who has truly accepted Gabi for exactly who she is. Stefan and Gabi were a power couple who backed each other up and schemed together. I want to see more of that! However, I’m a fan of CB and BB working together, so as long as Jake is Gabi’s guy, then I’m okay with it.

Some think he knows he is Stefan and is protecting someone ( mainly Gabi). It is still unclear to me, but I like it.

I just wonder if he knows he is Stefan and is trying to protect Gabi, why would he randomly show up in town? Whatever the case i am here for all of it. This is by far the most intriguing storyline!

Personally I'm leading towards Jake being an alias Stefan is suing for some reason probably for Gabi's own protection. Buti even if that does turn out to be the case he is definitely going to have in the immortal words of Ricky Richardo -from the television classic "II Love Lucy"- "some s[plaining to do."

I flat out do not want him to be Stefan. No more returns from the dead (unless it’s BO!). No more lost memory stories. No more magic from Dr Rolf. Julie has Stefan’s heart. That’s it. Let him be a new character, who knows who he is, and let’s see where it goes. Can he be Stefan’s twin, identical cousin, or

I am liking Jake so far, but I do believe he will turn out to be Stefan, but no, it wouldn't matter if he didn't. I do see Stefan and Gabi as the new EJ and Sami and look forward to their reunion.

I’m liking Jake now as well. Even if he is really Stefan, new memories will most likely be made with Gabriella. As long as he’s with Gabriella no matter how it turns out is what matters!
