Gabi's makeup Wednesday

Why was her makeup so heavy? She is a beautiful young woman but that super heavy makeup hides it. Was it part of the story that I missed?

I agree and she is always in dresses too tight and too short. I really noticed that horrible bright lipstick today tho. A bit much;.

No I don't think it is for any particular story purpose. Gabi generally wears a full face of makeup. I don't mind a statement red but the rest of the makeup needs to be minimal, so it doesn't compete with the lip and become too much. To each their own, but in general I like a more neutral natural look.

I always crack up when Ciara and Ben are in bed, and Ciara looks like she just applied her makeup. It's hard to they just had sex.

LOL, Hospital stays too. I like when actresses like SH's Kristen and KM now as Abby choose to go with little to no makeup for hospital visits. It adds a nice touch of realism.

I agree. I loved the first day Abby came home from Africa and she was wearing just Jeans and a regular top. To me it makes the character seem normal. lol

I thought she looked beautiful. Camila can pull off either natural or over the top. She also can pull off any outfit. Nothing wrong with that.

I thought she looked beautiful. Camila can pull off either natural or over the top. She also can pull off any outfit. Nothing wrong with that.

Camila looks great with or without makeup. She is a true natural beauty. Her makeup wss flawless as well as her hair and outfit. Kudos to her!

She was unbelievably beautiful, imo. And her looks vary. She's not always heavily made up. I can think of another on the show that NEEDS expert makeup, and doesn't use much, unfortunately.
