Kristen is acting like she's mentally ill. I'm not just saying that because she does bad things; obviously some villains are just evil. Kristen's behavior, however, is beyond bizarre and unpredictable. She has rapid shifts in personality. She is obsessed with children and Brady. She comes across like she legitimately has very little control of her actions, like when she killed Haley, refused to give the baby back to the nurse, and STABBED VICTOR WHEN SHE WAS PROBABLY ABOUT TO GET HER BABY BACK. As I mentioned before, her reaction to learning her baby was alive was bizarrely underwhelming. I'm not sure that whether that was bad writing, inexpressive acting, or an attempt to write Kristen as unpredictable and mentally unsound. or Other villains like Gabi and Xander are at least consistent, but this version of Kristen is so bizarre and unhinged and she gets weirder every day.

I agree. She's unhinged. She should be no where near a baby.
When is her normal just sociopathic self she would have taken the knife and would do anything to save herself.
She left the knife on the floor. It's like now she is just as ruthless, but somehow also reckless.
Is she expecting her baby to visit her in jail where she clearly belongs? She is still the evil person she has always been. Just more erratic. Which makes her more dangerous not less.
Can you imagine her kids birthday party? You didn't bring the right gift for my kid? I'm going to stab your balloon. Go cry to your mother you little brat. That's Kristen. -
I don't see mental illness. Haley's death was an accident. She's a villain acting like a villain is supposed to act. She stabbed Victor because he orchestrated the baby switch that kept her from her daughter for months. If Kristen Dimera didn't act like this, I'd wonder if the body snatchers came and abducted the real Kristen.
That said, I hope they remember that Kristen is a Dimera and let her use her connections to find her daughter.Comment

^ The real Kristen she's pretended not to be this entire time? Yes. Her real personality is stabby. But Brady tells himself and everyone else and shes simply not the psychotic self shes always been.
Maybe Brady is afraid of her. It's the only thing that would make sense. Shes not a good person he can't possibly think she would make a good mother.

She's been fully psycho for a long time. Anytime she seems somewhat sane, she's putting on an act to get what she wants.Comment

Unfortunately, Kristen is still unbalanced and out of control. She should be so happy her baby is alive and focus on finding her. Instead, she stabs Victor knowing she could serve time in prison, with no regard for her baby. She is a hopeless case!Comment

She’s been mentally ill since 1996. John’s death row love letter to Marlena scrambled her brains permanently I think. Don’t think she’s had any psychiatric treatment in 24 years.Comment

I agree that she's pretty much been this way since the 90's. The obsessed way she behaves about Brady she was the same way over his father. Brady isn't smart and he continues to stick his head where the sun doesn't shine when it comes to Kristen.Comment

I think she has some kind of personality disorder. Most people would have taken the murder weapon with them or maybe hid the body. She's already violent but she seems to have had some kind of mental break.Comment

She's not ill. She's a true villain they've been trying to cram into this box of instant forgiveness with all of Salem, including Marlena of all people. She got what she wanted through villainous ways and pretending to be a weepy flower for Brady to tend to so the loss of their baby would still be a means of keeping them together. But the very moment things stopped going her way, she's right back to being who she really is. Zero attempts at the slightest empathy for Sarah, threats of what will happen when she finds Sarah, rampaging around town, attacking anyone who gets in her way like that poor pilot, and attempting murder. A guaranteed way to lose time with her child because she can't claim post-partum on this one.
She's a monster. She was obsessed with John and did horrible things then she became obsessed with his son and did more horrible things. They all feel for her post-convent fragile act and now reality sets in. She's as deranged as ever and they fell for her line.Comment

I think she was becoming good after the convent experience but people just kept messing with her -- stealing the baby is an example. They just wouldn't give her a chance. She's kind of like Carrie in the Stephen King book/film.Comment

So true. She seems to be sinking more into depression now than she was when the baby supposedly died. She also should be arrested and charged with attempted murder, hoping Victor doesn't die, but she should not get away with this. Plus, if she is found guilty, she won't get to raise her baby anyway. Bet she never thought of that.Comment

She tried to kill Victor, which means she is unstable. I guess she will be sharing a room with her sister in law, Abby.Comment

wilson2012 Abby from today's episode looks like she is sick again. I don't hate Abby, but I feel like Days tries to miss a point with her.
