I do not usually like flashbacks but the Justin, Kayla, and Steve ones were worth watching a second time. But oh how I wish they had used some flashbacks when Steve was talking about himself way back when!! Also loved seeing Tony and Anna and Chabby all together and toasting!!! I wish they could get the actor to stay!! Tony was a snide hoot and I just love the actor!! I did a FF through Abe and Kate...just cannot get into Kate anymore. Obviously Gabi is not going to improve. I was laughing though when the town murderous was trying to trash others. The irony was hilarious but most of all I loved Tony just snickering and blowing her off. I know we are going to be stuck with her (and eventually Stefan) fighting for DiMera but it will not be believable...especially without Tony and at least Kristen. Again, I want real DiMeras. Not interested in Shin either. Will have to FF. But oh well. And finally I did enjoy Steve and Hope and the note from Anna...funny!

Tony knows what to toast to - Chad says we just toasted but he says yes but we need another drink; He wants to toast to the future. This is the first time they did it without Father. The name DiMera will mean something entirely different in the future. Chad and Tony hug; "I'll say au revoir and go get Gabi."; Gabi on the phone wanting to talk to Mr. Shin to make sure her husband's legacy in this company is not forgotten. She hangs up and sees a dark-haired man sitting at the desk and says "Stefan??" SHOW OVER

Tony says you need extra help getting rid of the last intruder in the house - Gabriela Hernandez. Gabi comes in and says Gabriella DiMera - and don't you forget it; Kate tells Abe I guess you never made an error in judgment and points out all the mistakes he's made. "Honestly Jack was a better mayor and he had amnesia."; Kate says the latest poll shows voters have lost confidence in him; Gabi mad they canceled the GabiChic order, he says he is the boss. She says not during this fugue state. She tries to get to Anna, says I can make it happen for you to go back to your villa in Europe and I will get all the first samples, you will be so chic; Anna affirms she’s always gonna back up Chad and Tony never her; Gabi making fun of them for all the stuff that happened. "Don't beat yourself up, he had one eye, to begin with, now he's back to his old self."; Hope calls Steve "Steven"; Justin just wants to hold Kayla in his arms and tell her everything is ok but he isn't sure she'd be there if Steve hadn't pushed her away. He doesn't want to be her consolation prize; Gabi says times a wasting - he better uncancel the order. She contends she is better qualified, she earned her way to the top; Gabi ranting and raving about Stefan and real DiMeras while Chabby and Tanna ignore her and pour champagne and smile. She storms out; "I offer you my most sincerest most heartfelt apology for poking your eye out with my shoe. If I had it to do it any other way I would have chosen a body part that didn't affect your vision." Anna's card to Steve; Steve asks Hope you remember Steve 1.0? Got in a fight with Bo, lost my eye, round one. He remembers terrorizing Hope working for Victor; Steve wants Kayla to have a life he can't give her. Kayla tells Justin he knows that she and Steve have loved each other for a very long time. It was passionate and crazy, the road we traveled was never all that easy; Steve told Kayla none of the pain and suffering they've been thru would have happened if he hadn't stayed away when he got out of prison, and he was right;

Kayla says Steve was mad she went behind his back about the eye and made the decision for him. She says that's what he always does but the one time I do it he can't forgive me; Kayla raised Stephanie as a single mom, she put herself thru medical school, she built her career by herself. She doesn't want to be on that roller coaster again; Justin asks if that's how she really feels or is that just hurt and grief talking? Kayla says whats talking is her love for him, her gratitude for how he treats her, she feels loved and protected; "You aren't getting me by default cause that would imply I want to be somewhere else and I don't. Steve is my past and you are my now."; Steve asks Hope if she'll be there for Kayla now? She wants to be but she's not sure how. She wasn't there for anyone this past year - not Shawn, Ciara, Jen, Kayla or Claire. She hasn't felt like her true self in a long time. What if she never does again?; Kate says Abe needs someone who can convince Salem he is completely in control and had nothing to do with all the chaos that's happened; Tony says where were we - oh yes, how do we get rid of Gabriella? Abby says give her control of GabiChic, keep enemies closer - a wounded Gabi is a dangerous Gabi; Anna sorry she temporarily joined forces with that little minx but Chad says it's his fault. The next time they toast it will be to Gabi being gone from their lives and their house;

Abe stands to leave, says her five minutes are up. Kate asks if there are really any other candidates? He doesn't answer and she says she didn't think so. She is the best person for this job and he knows it; Steve telling Hope that Justin was reluctant to tell him everything he did to Kayla but Steve got it out of him. Hope says every day she finds out new horrible things she did, sometimes people tell her and sometimes they are in flashes; She hates how pleased she was with herself - a flashback of Gina and Stevano toasting to getting everything they want. Steve says maybe he is getting what he deserves now; Justin tells Kayla maybe she should take her time and process what just happened. Kayla tells him "I love you. I choose you." She asks him to take her home;

Abe sitting in Julie's Place, Kate sits down. He tells her I don't have time, I am waiting for a job interview. She says yes, I am the one you are waiting for. Abe's not thrilled; Chad staring at the Stefano portrait, Abby comes in and says there's my handsome husband. He keeps staring at the portrait and she gets nervous. He says no, I am not under his control. "Last night I killed Stefano DiMera."; Gabi getting ready, flashback to Stefan giving her the engagement ring that was his mothers; Kayla crying on the bench outside the pub. Justin comes up, gently says "Sweetheart....why are you crying?"; She says she just came from seeing Steve. Justin says its ok, you don't have to say it, you are back with Steve; Steve having flashbacks to Kayla yelling at him; Someone knocks at his door, he wipes away a tear and Hope comes in with flowers. "Well, if it isn't my partner in crime."; Steve tells Hope you shouldn't have. She says I didn't, they were on the nurse's station so I brought them in for you. She hands him the card but he's not interested. She asks what's wrong and he tells her he told Kayla to be with Justin; Kayla tells him that she and Steve aren't getting back together. Jen helped her see it was unfair to string them both along, so she was going to make a decision but Steve made the decision for her; Chad telling Abby the police gave him and Tony the chip; Chad says they didn't want the chip to fall into the wrong hands so they metaphorically put a stake in his heart. Abby thinks that was hard for him but he says no, my father died a long time ago; Chad says who knows how many chips are out there; Abby says well the Phoenix does find a way to rise; As Abby says the Phoenix rises the tunnel door opens; Abe rises and says this interview is over. Kate gave his secretary a phony name. She asks him to give her 5 minutes, he won't regret it. Abe says he already does; Kate wants to be the Mayor's spokesperson.; Abe says everyone is suffering because of what Steve and Hope did and she could have stopped it. How does she live with herself?; Steve telling Hope he was going to fight for Kayla but he found out all the horrible things he did to her as Stevano; Steve thinks Hope is going to say it wasn't his fault but she says no, I understand why you pushed Kayla away;

Justin doesn't understand, Steve was fighting for her. Kayla says he was till he found out all the stuff he did to me as Stevano. Justin flashbacks to telling Steve all the dirt; Justin asks if Kayla knows how Steve found out? She says John told him but it doesn't matter how he found out. She says Steve thinks she is better off, safer with Justin. Justin looks surprised; Gabi answers her phone, its someone about GabiChic, she starts to give orders and he tells her the line is canceled and hangs up on her. She says Stefan, baby, I wish you were still here; Tony comes out and says do I look like Father? He was getting champagne, asks them if they want to join them in a toast, Tony and Anna are leaving Salem; Hope thinks that she and Steve are the only people that understand, every time she mentions the horrible things she's done everyone tells her its not her fault. But it doesn't change the fact that she pushed Jen off the balcony and kissed John; Hope keeps thinking What If - what if she didn't go with Rolf to the lab? Steve thinks they would know better, they've been thru this before; Justin doesn't want Kayla by default. He doesn't want them to be together only because Steve walked away; Abe tells Kate its not just Steve and Hope that was hurt, its Kayla, John, Marlena. Kate says she is sorry but Abe says its not enough. When Theo was shot he thought she changed but he almost spent his life in a wheelchair because of her; Kate is surprised Kate would begrudge her the chance to restart her life. She says she was under Stefano's spell also, in a different way, but she takes responsibility for what she did and regrets what happened;

Chad surprised they're leaving. Anna says they want to get back to their life in Europe, Carrie, Noah, wine, cheese; Tony tried to call Kristen to say goodbye but he couldn't get ahold of her;
