When I waked up every morning and used to look at my Yahoo News, I used to get depressed. Still am. Don't know when we are going to get back to normalcy. Not to mention, most of people, are now playing Nintendo during this time. Can't find the Switch anywhere.
As of Days, I am a bit worried cuz their episodes will probably run out later. They may or might start to rerun some of the episodes of this year, unless they start with the classics, which I doubt. Anyway, thank you Shelly for this thread too!

They wont be able to run older episode because if they do anyone not on the show.... they would have to pay royalty money to them...Im not sure if that is the word..but I know they would have to pay former actors.. Maybe someone else knows what Im trying to say....Im old not to bright anymore with words..

Personally it's scary, no vaccines, no treatments, the virus could multiply, so in this case a vaccine would be useless.Here in France the children are going to go back to school on May 11, I don't think it's a good idea to stop confinement.(I worry about my niece who lives in New York, she is fine, stays at home, but far from her family).I think it's too early, and I'm afraid a second wave will come.
Well I'm not very optimistic basic, but there it is worse.

I think either 2021 or 2022, a vaccine might be made. I just cant wrap around my brain of how the virus fire spread around the world quick. This is wild....

In France for example, it spread because they told us that it would not happen in Europe, that it was just a form of flu.
As soon as it arrived in Italy, I knew that in a short time it would come to our country.
Practically no masks to protect us, a population in Paris who do not respect confinement, now the government which wants to open the schools again, I do not understand the decisions taken.

I don't know how the schools are going to be able to open here in Ontario under the current guidelines either. They've just extended the closure of them here in Ontario for another month and I'm doubtful they will go back in June. It's online classes now.Originally posted by kahinamah View Post
Parts of Europe got hit pretty hard. You hear so many sad stories right now and it's the front line workers who don't have all the proper protections and materials that are the real rock stars. As the weather gets warmer it's going to be harder for people to stay in. Good thing in Ontario to wait to open the schools, not to take risks for the children, their parents and also the working professionals.
In France the president said that the return to school should be the choice of the children, and the parents, not clear, in addition they may have the choice, but the professionals not, they will be forced to go to work, put themselves in danger and therefore put their families in danger.
Not even sure that the cause comes from China, I wonder even if we are not lied to, as in the time of Chernobyl. -
This virus is very similar to a bat coronavirus from what I've read. There was story on CNN and CTV (Canadian news network) yesterday about there actually being scientists who specialize as virus hunters that collect samples from bat caves to try and predict the next pandemic. From what I've read it's believed to have originated by an infected bat that was transmitted through another animal likely killed and sold at those wet markets. The first reported case in China was that of someone who had recently visited one. I didn't even know those things existed until this pandemic. They sound disgusting.
