I mean Steve Johnson a man who was supposedly everyone's friend was kidnapped and brainwashed (or what ever it was) into becoming a man everyone , himself included hated, and everyone is going on with the life like nothing happened. You would think that Roman would be spearheading the search party for his "great friend" but no he is strolling in to Doc's office looking to have a little lunch with her. No word whatsoever about Jack. While Abby is off somewhere out of town not in the least bit worried about her "Uncle Steve". The only real worry is that Stefano is on the loose not that Steve is essential dead. Even Kayla doesn't seem that broken up about it.

John rushed to Prague because dangerous Stefano was on the loose, but now he doesn't care that Steve is in trouble, and Stefano is still dangerous and on the loose. Marlena and John are the worst friends ever, there's no evidence that he or Marlena called Kayla. Roman only left his sister one voicemail, but never followed up. Chad didn't care that his dad kidnapped Kayla, instead he made sure Stefano's portrait was " back where it belongs", and we never saw Abby telling her dad. We don't even know if Jack even knows about his brother. Abby and Jack shared a scene after the failed wedding, but she never mentioned Uncle Steve to her dad.
We haven't heard about Hope either, is anyone checking on her? Ciara isn't bothered by her moms fate, and we haven't seen Shawn-D.

They are not showing Shawn because he told them about the chip and no one will listen. It does seem strange that Kayla isn't more broken up about what happened to Steve when she knows how much Steve hated Stefano.Comment

Jack and Abby went to Africa to attend Bill Horton's funeral. On the show, I think only a few days have passed since they learned about Bill's death (even though it's been longer for us).Comment

There is no urgency. It's like meh. But what can one expect. It took over a year(time jump wise) for anyone to notice Hope was Gina but Shawn figured it out in two minutes. All I heard was "does Hope seem off to you." It's like they then said "oh well meh."Comment

You are right, everyone in Salem is acting like it's no big deal that Stefano has taken over Steve Johnson's body. I know this might be a minority opinion, I think Stephen Nichols is doing a great job as Stevano.Comment

SN gets better as Stevano every day. And Kayla and Justin both did triy to get to him mentally. But even in Salem no one seems to be able to deal with Rolf's genious madness!! Plus i think we are supposed to assume that Stevano has been capable of being able to wander around unseen!! Most just found out he is actually Stevano!Comment
