How could he in good conscience watch Will take responsibility for something he wasn't responsible for? And maybe I should have felt bad for Xander in these flashbacks but I don't. Because the sad thing is he knew it was wrong but he went a long with it for a pat on the head from the old man not to mention all the rewards he was about to reap for his silence and somewhere along the way he actually believed it was real but it's not, it never was. And seemed to me that Victor ordered that switch to replace Maggie's granddaughter, with his own great-granddaughter. Does this man's cruelty know no bounds? This is why Caroline never told him that he was Bo's father, because she didn't want Victor influencing her son.

Victor is not thinking about Will taking the fall for this. He is thinking about Maggie. His first priority is Maggie and her well being and that is all. He said it after the baby died at the hospital -- Maggie would be devastated to think that she killed her grandchild. From that point forward, nothing else is more important as far as Victor is concerned. Save Maggie at all costs.
For everything that he sees Will going through, he just thinks of Maggie going through it instead and he does what ever is necessary to keep that from happening. That. Is. All.

I think it's hard for Victor to see any POV except his own. Even Xander had pause at letting Will believe he was responsible. It seems they will both
have to face the music after Ciara tells Will, but it may still work out that they won't.

This is Victor at his best. He puts his needs, and those of his family before anything else. Will is collateral damage, Victor doesn't see him as truly family. It's unfortunate that Sonny will be hurt, but to Victor Maggie's more important. Will and Adrienne were never important to Victor.

That's who Victor is and when it all comes to light I think the last thing Maggie should be is surprised by Victor's actions.
Will thinks he caused that accident and from what I saw he was texting while driving and went into the wrong lane, causing Adrienne to swerve off the road. So didn't he cause the accident? What's Maggie's part in all of this? I know she was found unconscious in her car, and nobody saw her car, but what did she do to Adrienne's car that caused the injury?

As horrible as what he did is at least I understand why he did it!!! Usually villains are horrible with no real rhyme or reason but having him want to protect the person most dear to him in his whole world.....to save her not only from prison but also from the horror of not only killing Adrienne but also her own grandchild does have some sense to it!! Much more then many of his plots! And I am loving both Victor and Xander in this story!! My heart was exhausted from so much heartache!!!

Victor will always be Victor. Granted, he didn't create the situation, but took advantage of it to justify his own needs. With that said, it was nice to see him desperately asking Xander for his help. Victor has no friends or family members that he can lean on. It was a nice change to see him "beg" for once.

Villainy is villainy. I dont know how Xander making Sarah fall in love with a child that is not hers is somehow a good thing, protecting her or selfless. I also don't know how Xander making her think her niece died was protecting her either, or how framing an innocent man for manslaughter is selfless because Maggie would be horrified if she knew. Besides 95% of the show's characters are villains. To each their own!

Exactly backheidi all Gabi's behavior is about revenge and selfish reasons; she has even been willing to use her own child in her revenge schemes. I agree what Victor and Zander did was horrible but at least they were trying to protect a love one in this case; not damage someone they felt harm them. Victor and Zander have done horrible things and will most likely do horrible things again but the Gabi defense on going after her so called BFF who was mentally ill at the time is just a character written to be constantly in a vengeful evil space but will turn an enemy into the love of her life if he is good in bed. pfft

Conscience? Victor?
Without extreme narcissists like Victor, Summer, Stefano, Kristen...it wouldn't be very soapy. Ordinary selfish people are a thing of the past. Lies, adultery, paternity suits, betrayals -- so mundane! The modern audience is comprised of people who need the extraordinary and the grotesque, to feel anything -- at least that's how it seems the writers must believe.
Me, I'm insulted by all the baby switching, heart switching, resurrecting, paranormal and scifi dreck they're dishing as entertainment, and the way writers require characters to behave like complete psychopaths, just to gin up a storyline.
I was pretty disgusted when Maggie went full stupid and married Victor, who was always a selfish, ruthless sociopathic criminal. Never expected she would change one stripe on that old tiger, and she hasn't.

Good questions. I think neither Will or Maggie caused the accident. I think that it's possible that both Summer and Maggie got into the car drunk .Summer was driving and it was Summer who crashed into Adrienne's car and took off afterwards. Then Xander found Maggie in the car by herself. I could be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if Summer was the driver.

I know one thing, he is going to lose Brady for good this time after he find out about what Victor has done and took his child from him. This man has got to have some consequences for some of his actions at some point. He and Xander both need to suffer for this one. I don't care who did this they need to own the crap and pay the consequences and the truth need to come out. Don't mean any harm but this is as it is suppose to be cause Sarah and Eric don't need to be raising a child together anyway. Give Brady and Kristin their child back.
