News websites have confirmed the trial will begin at 1PM ET on Tuesday, January 21 (the same time "Days" airs in most of the East Coast). There will possibly be weeks of preemptions throughout the country over the next 2+ weeks. NBC has not announced yet if it will cover the trial every day, but Deadline reports that is likely the case. Based on recent history, NBC may still post the "Days" episodes online each day (instead of full preemptions), so you may have to watch "Days" online for the next few weeks. As a backup precaution, if you have the NBC feed of Cozi TV, you should tape that the next few weeks in case your affiliate airs "Days" on that channel in your area..

CLOUDFARE Security Message
Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.
This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.
Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.
The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

Yes it will hurt ratings. A lot of viewers....especially older ones will not go online (my mom would never even tape them....it was live or nothing and she loved her soaps)!!! The TJ is already not popular with many so this will not help....especially on a week that is supposed to be good and give answers. But what can you do!!! Thank you for the heads up!!

I am glad I have On Demand, because the episode is always available after 11 p.m., but it sucks because it's not being DVR'd or watched live when it airs at what time is it usually? Like 2 a.m. when they air it? Sucks all around.

The networks are such a bunch of hypocrites!!! They pre-empt daytime, but not primetime. The proceedings during the day today are just as important as the evening proceedings, but they don't pre-empt them! Shame on them all!
I'm not saying if they should or shouldn't be on network, just that if they make the decision to disrupt daytime, it should be the same for primetime. Do they believe this stuff is newsworthy or not?
Thankfully there are ways to catch up, but none of them are as good as my preferred way to watch. Plus, this really messes with ratings for Days this week, which probably would have seen some pretty good numbers.

FYI Cozi TV is a channel but for some like here in my local Iowa area that is a sub channel of an ABC affiliate and is not NBC. So it may be Cozi in your area but in my area it is actually being shown on the CW which is the local sub channel of my NBC affiliate. so you may want to check the local sub channel, whatever it might be. i’ve set a manual timer for this week on the sub channel my local station indicated. and yes this is annoying. in our new age every network shouldn’t have to broadcast this crap.

I watch all four soaps and Days is the only one I can see because I have Cozi. Can't tape it though because it is on an antenna. I hate this because I don't see why this can't be on the news channels. Not all of the local channels carry the trials, just the ones that carry the soaps, CBS, NBC and ABC. I am so over this mess right now.

NBC is the only network that is still making soap fans watch Days online at night on the NBC.com website. ABC and CBS have all decided not to air any new episodes of their soaps until the impeachment stuff is over. They realize that most soap fans would rather watch their shows on tv instead of having to watch them online. Too bad Days couldn't do the same thing until this impeachment stuff is over but unfortunately with Days tape and the fact that they tape 8 months in advance it would knock the show off track for a very long time and Days can't afford to have that happen especially with the fact that during the summer Olympics, Days won't be airing and they already taped a cliffhanger episode to tie fans over until the show comes back on the air. Hopefully Days will stop taping so far in advance after this long break the show is on.

I watch both NBC and ABC soaps, and am GLAD NBC offers it online! Do I prefer it...no. But opposed to not being able to watch GH at all, which is also in the middle of some very good writing this week, I am thrilled to be able to at least go on line to see Days. Don't get me started on what I think about why the impeachment should be handled differently, or I could talk your ear off. Having been around since the Nixon resignation, I think I've seen it all now. But we seniors (I'm 67) can go online to get our soap fix if we really want to, or get it elsewhere. (Unless you have the bad luck to be a GH fan) May we all be rewarded soon with a short trial and back to our regularly scheduled programs!
