CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    Eric's Choke Hold on Kristen

    What did you all think about Eric doing that? Do you think it was over the top or humours. I thought that Eric would be more chill. Seeing his family are cops and he has been around danger.

    Didn't bother me in the least. I've been waiting for someone to strangle that crazy witch, so glad Eric did it. And before someone says it's wrong for a man to put his hands on a woman like that, I don't condone violence in anyway IRL for a woman, but for the sake of a soap and considering what an evil nutcase Kristen is, she deserves it.

      Considering she raped him I'm not bothered however I can understand why someone would find that scene jarring though.

            I think he did it to scare her not to actually shut off oxygen to her brain. He needs her alive.

            But to me the scene is a little disturbing. Yes Kristen raped him, faked Nicole and Holly's death yadda yadda. But Eric is SUPPOSED to be the good guy in town. He was such a good guy he had a calling to be a priest. Then he became a drunk. Killed his best friend. Stole his brothers women. Beats up on Brady and Kristen.

            The guy has become unhinged. I'm hoping Nicole doesn't reunite with him. To me he's starting to show signs he will become an abuser. He can't control his temper. He's violent. He's self absorbed. He more or less stalks women. He's condescending.

              Yeah, Eric's a "good guy" in the sense, he would never do any of the evil stuff Kristen's done, or even Brady has done, but even good guys have their breaking point. Eric is a tortured soul and his act yesterday was him releasing some of that torture that Kristen has put him through.

            It didn't bother me at all, it was a long time coming and Kristen so much deserved it after all the things she has done, especially to him.

            I thought it was great. I loved how fast he moved and how quickly he knew what he wanted to do. He was essentially facing off with his rapist and the person who ruined his life by taking Holly and Nicole from him.

            I am so annoyed by the show still skirting around the issue that she raped him. Even Brady is saying that Kristin drugged Eric and had sex with him. Yeah, that is called rape, Brady. I think that Eric called it rape once while talking to Marlena, but since then they just keep skirting the issue. Double standards.

              They did that with Sami/Austin of course that was worse they paired them together after the fact down the line. At least that wouldn't happen with Eric/Kristen. Course I don't think they believe men can be raped hence the double standards.

              Ron loves to "dance around" the subject of rape, but never will really delve into it, in a responsible way. He puts rape scenes out there and then does his best to try and ignore them as the sick crime it is.

              Exactly. She raped Eric and videotaped it and got him kicked out of the church he served. His hatred for Kristen goes beyond Nicole. I actually think he was a bit gentle with her considering what she has taken from him.

              Didn't bother me. besides, it looked more aggressive when John literally snatched Kristen's wig and face. She;s probably gonna need to see a chiropractor after that. John about took her head off. lol

                She will survive. She deserved it. She after all raped him and just threw it in his face again today, tried to kill his mother multiple times, is currently keeping the love of his life away from him after she tormented him for months. Faked Holly's death etc..the list goes on and on. I love Kristen and she is my all time fav female villain character but i cant deny she deserves whatever people do to her lol
