I don't mind contentious characters but I really can't handle Eve so I FF her scenes which is unfortunate because they're often with other characters I like. This bit with the "get Ben" attitude is getting old. Claire is becoming OTT - how can anyone in conversation with her not see she's not exactly on bubble. Another FF. Like I said, I appreciate "difficult" people but Eve especially is too much. I can't even feel sorry for her. I was left with the Lani/Rafe scenes - which were very good. Short day for me.

I'm sorry you feel that way, CincyLady. I have the opposite reaction- I actually think Eve is one of the most watchable characters on Days right now. I don't know how much of it is the actress herself, but Eve comes across as less one-note than some other characters. I completely get why she hates Ben- anyone would hate the man who murdered their child. Yes, Eve is primarily a villain, but we've seen in the past how much she cared for Tate, as well as Claire right now. Also, she wants Xander to return Rolf's diary to Kayla so Will can live, so we know she has some redeeming qualities. Her scenes with Sonny and Ben were excellent, but like I said, I think that's a reflection of the actors, not the material.-
She doesn't care about Claire. She just finished betraying Claire because Claire is inconsequential to Eve. She as much as told Claire to let it go. Eve is using Claire, and when that use is complete, she'll ditch her, with the exception of an occasional hello. She might want to help Sonny, but that 'help' might reinstall Jack's memories. Quite a quandary for the new PC.

I watched Eve, even with Ben, because I like Eve/KDP, and I don't watch Ben unless he is in scenes with others that I want to see.Comment

I can't stand to watch Eve either she is annoying to me. I do watch her but I can't stand to since I watch live. I hate Eve she is annoying her and Jack are the most unwatchable people on the show to me after Ben and Ciara though. These people are the most unwatchable on the show to me.Comment

I just did not get Rafe and Lani scenes.
For me, I saw the old Lani again, always hungry for men. Now Eve scene with Ben, that was good!

I'm loving Eve right now. She's definitely turned into a "love to hate" character for me. KDP is just so good at being a jerk. But then she'll show these flashes of humanity, like caring about Will. She's an interesting character. And I love seeing her in a position of power and throwing her weight around, even though she's being horrible. I'm used to seeing her hatching plans that never work out.Comment

I will forever love to hate Evil Eve!!! Which of course means the actress is doing a great job! Jack on the other hand I don't remember him on much before and right now he is an idiot and his acting isn't that great.... Maybe they can still turn him around but I don't have any feeling toward Jack. I just want him to go away or have a lobotomy....Comment
