Should DAYS look into bringing Gina Tognoni to the show? I just found out she was let go from Y&R and I’m shocked. She’s an Emmy winning actress and drove multiple storylines. I know many will say that the show needs to write for who they already have and while that’s true, this show needs some new characters because too many characters are related to each other and aside from some of the newer pairings like Cin, Stabi, and maybe Traley, a lot of the relationships are stale imo. We’re seeing the same people paired with the same characters and it’s getting mundane. She can bring a spunk and fire that’s been missing from this show for a while. I can see RC bringing her as some kind of villainess or someone to stir up trouble in Salem and tbh, I’d welcome it.

No thanks, they would probably just make her a no come out of no where daughter of Shane's with Emma Donovan just so she can be in a story with Eve "KDP".

Agreed. Most of the characters currently have bad writing as it is. We don't need to add anyone else to the mix.

I love KDP as scheming Eve. I love GT and am sorry she is leaving YR but she should not replace KDP . The writers don't know how to write for who they have. JC is campy vintage soap gold and they didn't know what to do with her except the cheap short term villain. I could see her on BB with Dolla Bill. Instead they are revisiting the boring Batie pair.

I always thought she would've made a good Eve before KDP got the role(I have accepted Charlotte Ross is never coming back to Days) or even a Billie Recast beyond that she's not really needed.

Would be funnier if she went to GH as Nina though.

If Gina moves on to another soap, I think her best bet would be on The Bold & the Beautiful. They could bring her on as "Sally's" mother.

I never thought of that, since Griffin is gone, Finn is the only dr. Therefore, ICAM, GT should be a dr. on GH and work with Finn! It would be soapy delicious, since MS is resuming her role as FN on Y&R, if GT played Nina! LOL

I hope she doesn't play Nina. I'd rather Nina not be recast. It's time GH got Finn another good love interest because he and Anna don't hold my attention.

I was actually thinking about Gina taking over the role of Nina, the character Michelle Stafford is currently playing on GH.
Michelle from Nina to Phyllis and Gina from Phyllis to Nina.
A switch roles thing.

I rather she not be as Alexis Thorpe the original Cassie has expressed interested in returning and she was good in the role so why not bring her back? GT can be a Billie recast. I mean if Kate is going to be on the show it would be good to have one of her kids around.

I think she would make a great Sarah Webber recast. She’s a doctor and Gina had great chemistry with Michael Easton on OLTL.
