I'm beginning to wonder if Ben might be better with Gabi

Since everyone in Salem is against Ben and Ciara and Ciara doesn't seem mature enough or strong enough to follow through on her decisions, why not go a different direction. Ben has had a rough past and so has Gabi, both are beautiful people and Gabi is definitely more mature than Ciara - and a time zone away from Hope. I just like Ben and want him with someone with whom he can find success. I didn't like Ciara's taunting about Chad being such a good guy and such a great father and "are you jealous". Not working for me. I don't post on this board anymore but just wanted to offer another option. I have to assume the writers plan to redeem these characters - or use one to redeem the other maybe. jmo

GREAT idea and find another guy for Ciara who brings out HER best - her strengths/positive traits as Bo & Hope's daughter who, IMO,, would NEVER be attracted to a serial killer!

Well first off I love Gabi but her and Ben wouldn’t work , also Ciara has always thought highly of Chad, fact is Coara is twenty one log course she’s immature & Ben is at time immature as well , He is finding success with Ciara . She wasn’t taunting him by saying chads a good father she was speaking on how she’s seen him with his kids & he was jealous he admitted that

I don't see the magic yet but i haven't seen a redemption story either. Where is the self loathing. Where is the man who should believe he isn't good enough but she keeps trying to make him believe he is. This whole couple has been rushed with only using Hope as angst

I don't understand your reply to my statement. I was referring STRICTLY to the chemistry between two actors/characters. I didn't delve into redemption at all, because the subject of the thread was a possible hookup with a character other than the one he's romantically interested in currently. So I'll state it more clearly.....Ben with Gabi is a dogsh*t idea....clear enough?

That's a no-brainer IMO but don't see any "magic" in a romantic serial killer personally! Not caring what the writers & others like - just not my taste at all! LOTS of other options for Ciara that I'd invest in (and a significant number of others as well), so yes, "something else WOULD definitely do"!!

As to the topic of this thread, yea put her with the serial killer, it makes more sense than him with a naive Ciera who says dumb things like how can you work for Stefan when he did horrible things to my family; speaking to Ben who did worse to her family. If you are referring to Chad, that ship has sailed a long time ago. I used to ship Cabi because they were hot when they were feuding. I could tolerate his emotional abuse of her in 2012 but at some point enough is enough!

Ben and Ciara oozes chemistry and look so darn beautiful together but I am beginning to get off this ship. Ciara seems too young for Ben and not ready to handle his past or his present. Ben is who he is and Ciara wants someone else; it seems. But maybe they can work it out. A serial killer and the girl next door with a police commissioner for a mom just doesn’t gel well.

If Ben has to lose his edge and go back to being sugary sweet/boring, then he may do better with a bad girl like Gabi. I don’t know. Ben 1.0 was soooooo boring. But 2.0 Ben was entertaining and my this Ben 3.0 is everything.

I’m wondering if the Johannesburg visit will change Ciara. I hope so. I agree, she is presenting way too young. But I’m willing to wait a few months longer, since I’ve hung around this long.

I loved how Ben’s face was during that conversation. I think I will stay on the CIn ship and just be patient. I can’t imagine Ben being this good with anyone else.

I dont think ben should be in a relationship with anyone right now. His only focus should be himself but where is the story in that so i understand. The problem with Ben is he still has some demons in him. Look at his face when ciara was speaking of chad and thomas. He looked like he was about to snap but applaud him for now doing so. He pretty much said she doesnt want to see him jealous which translated to me that he knows he will go back to that place if he is put in that position again Ciara better be careful here. He will become attached to her and once he falls in love its a wrap, it's going to be hard for her to end things (if she ever wants to) and move on.

Unfortunately Gabi is not right for Ben. She has her own qualities that would fit with someone like Stefan but her and J.J. are good together and I’d like to see them back together. She was good with Eli too. Ciara brings out vulnerability and the soft side of Ben that wants to be good and repent and that is where the strong following of Cinners comes from, she softens his rough edges and makes him the man he really wants to be. She’s younger than him yes, but sometimes she has more of the maturity than he does. Sometimes when he’s with her he seems to regress a little maturity(in a good way, possibly a lost innocence of growing up the way he did). I used to say she was a waffler too but it’s hard for both of them. He has a mental illness that will never go away and the closer and deeper they get into their relationship it’ll her battling it with him too. She’s not naive about his past and she’s fighting the negativity from her family for both of them. With the Chad talk, yes it upset him but she shouldn’t have to censor herself because he’ll get upset neither should he have to do the same when he spoke of Stefan. They listen to each other and they are going to have disagreements and they are going to rise above it. They are at the point they don’t know where one of them begins or the other ends.
