Maybe when she wakes up she will have some knowledge about how to handle delicate situations with finesse, screaming at Ciara was not the best way to try to discourage a relationship with Ben. Listening to her screech was like nails on a chalkboard. I just wanted her to shut up. She could have expressed her concern without making Ciara feel like a fool. Ciara is not a fool, she just chooses to see good, she's not blind to the bad but there is good in Ben. Now she's sticking her nose into Gabi's business. I will never see Gabi as the villain in this she was hurt and no one was held accountable for that and Rafe better get ready because when all is revealed people are going to hate Gabi as much as they hate Ben. And this double standard when it comes to mental illness is insulting. Ben has break and kills three people, is found unfit to stand trial and does his time in a mental facility. He's better but he's just plain evil, and Abby is sick and does terrible things but she's just a poor victim and nothing she did was her fault. Does anyone else find this logic incredibly stupid?

Does it make me a terrible person to want to see Julie take that tumble?

You’re not the only one.
I want her to take the fall lol
She needs to hit the stairs and stay there for awhile.
I’m tired of her double staandards and the way she acts like the Hortons are better than everyone else and they deserve to get a pass no matter how awful they are to people.
Julie sees nothing wrong with the chaos Nick caused in Gabi and Wilson’s lives but according to her, Ben is a sick criminal who can’t be reformed. Now she’s about to team up with her mentally ill niece, Abby, who’s also a murderer.
I want the hag to go down!

I agree. It's time Julie needs to learn not to be sticking her nose in other people's business. She just starts wailing on anyone that she thinks ruins her perfect family's reputation! I also, hate the way she treats Chloe. The other day when she jumped on her. She just can't accept anyone striking back at her "perfect" family. Look what "darling" Nick did to Gabi and Will. So, she needs to be taken down a peg or two! Just my opinion.

I enjoyed Julie today. I felt as if she was speaking for a portion of the viewers who understandably have issues with this story. She was making a lot of good points. Liked her line about a lot of people have difficult lives but they don't go around strangling people.Last edited by LadyCanuck; December 10, 2018, 05:34 PM.

I say, BRAVO Julie! They should pin a medal on her! Seems she was right about Gabi all along! Gabi is the villain in this, and I would hope she would be sent away to jail for a very long time, but I know that will never happen, but she'll deserve any Hell that Abby and Julie put her through!

Clyde didn't commit the crime, whatever it was, it was bad enough that he had to use some of his goons to cover for Ben. He alluded to it when Ben visited him in prison. Paige and Eve also alluded to seeing Ben in Florida when they met him on campus and he made some excuse and took off.Ben/Ollie and Jordan/Tammy Sue were on the run a lot and settled in different places. It's not hard to conceive that Ben could have killed before given his retelling of his past with Clyde. The tracking app comes into play when it's contended that Abby should have been honest with Ben about Chad. Well she was when she confronted him about putting the tracking app on her phone w/o her knowledge. He knew about Chad/Abby all along and still killed to keep her and get Chad out of the way. Even after that convo, it didn't deter Ben from continuing to kill and frame Chad.Last edited by LadyCanuck; December 11, 2018, 07:41 AM.

Well said LadyCanuck Ben killing spree was on him and no one else. He knew Abby cheated but he CHOSE to plan murders and blame it on Chad just to hold on to Abby. Ben knew exactly what he was doing was wrong but he CHOSE to do it anyhow. Normal folks break up with a cheating partner. They don't go on full out carnage mode. If everyone who was cheated on in fictional Salem became a serial killer, the town would be empty.

I also liked her today. I felt that she made her points about Ben to Ciara in a brief and concise manner, even with her flair for the melodramatic. It seemed to me that Julie spoke her piece, well, in a raised voice and left it at that. I didn't get an impression that Julie will start hounding Ciara about being involved with Ben.

Nothing about what she said made sense when she’s enabled the same things that she find so reprehensible with Ben in others.
She enabled Nick and coddled him through his mental break and months and months of destruction that caused around him.
She sees nothing wrong with Abby’s twisted actions and her criminal history just because they are Hortons.
Knowing Julie, she won’t stop at that talk, she will keep harassing the poor girl until she gives up on Ben.
Good thing, Julie will stuck in a Coma for awhile.

I agree. I listened to her speak to Ciara about Ben shaking my head because Nick was a monster and she protects him to this day. Then she left Ciara and went over to coddle and join her cousin who murdered a man and hasn't spent a day in prison in a scheme against another of her victims.
Julie disgusts me. Her self-rigteous hypocrisy is stifling. If she is sent tumbling down a staircase then karma finally came her way.

I don't think Julie will be out that long. In the meantime, it will give her family some good scenes. And, they will finally see that she was right about Gabi. I hope they all apologize to her. And no one in their right mind would want their granddaughter to date a serial killer.Last edited by jam6242; December 10, 2018, 06:06 PM.

I say bravo to Julie. She is right much of the time....including about gabi. The same people that trash nick.....who wanted to get help but was murdered in cold blood before he could....have no problem forgiving a serial killer. And if abby drove ben to be an S.K. (Which is absurd) then gabi must have drove nick just the same.

Oh, so now we're back to blaming Abigail for Ben turning into a serial killer?? It is much more believable that he turned dark because of his father's disturbing influence on him and how Clyde liked to watch people suffer and to torture them, and because of how Clyde abused Ben himself. Girlfriends cheating don't turn guys into serial killers, if that were true, we'd have a lot more serial killers running around than we do know about. That darkness was obviously already inside Ben.

Her split was caused when she realized her hitting Andre in self-defense, killed him, and she couldn't handle that reality of killing someone she once loved, so her mind split because of it.

tiff5555 it was 100% self-defense! Don't like it, well, that's what was portrayed on screen! She did panic, it's called being traumatized and the beginning of a mental break because she was so traumatized by it. It was clear, she never meant to kill him, just to stop his physical restraint on her, and it accidentally led to his death. Those are the facts that were portrayed on screen!
