This is supposed to be a great love, one for the ages. If that is the case Abby needs to tell her HUSBAND what is going on with her. She should not be saying one word to Stefan. She should be discussing this with no one except Chad and Jennifer. Or call Grandma!

She wanted Stefan to leave her alone that is the only reason why she told him anything is so he would leave her alone and she does trust Chad she doesn't trust Stefan. She just doesn't know if Chad can handle it if her alter is coming back and she doesn't want to lose him she loves him way to much. She doesn't Trust Stefan at all she took him to her appointment because he threatened her in not so many words that he would tell Chad she is trying to protect Chad in case her alters do come back and she doesn't want Gabby ruining her life even more than sh e has. Abby loves Chad completely and doesn't want to lose him because of her alters.Comment

But to counteract Gabi & Stefan she needs to bring Chad into the loop. He is the only one who should be in thew loop. If their love is that strong he will deal with whatever is thrown at him.She is not protecting him. She is unintentionally sabotaging their relationship. She needs to tell Stefan to go blow & find Chad & tell him everything! That was the problem the last time. He was kept out of the loop.

Abby lying to Chad AGAIN. Abby confiding in Stefan and allowing him to be in her personal space/business AGAIN.
What value does her marriage truly have? The way she lies to Chad and doesn't feel comfortable enough to tell him important stuff like this. You've got your husband, Jennifer, JJ and good ole' Grandma and yet her she is again with Stefan.Comment

IA she should tell Chad what is happening and tell Stefan to go sniff a wig; but I guess Stefan is the all powerful who had even Kayla lying to Steve and keeping secrets from him; and they are the loves of each other's lives. I agree she should tell Chad and especially not tell Stefan anything, but this is bad writing at work here folks. I see her motivation in not telling Chad. She's trying to spare him the burden of her mental illness possibly returning. She thinks she can handle things first, without worrying Chad, but of course, it never goes well.Comment

I notice that the longer she talks with Stefan, the more comfortable she gets. Although she tends to pull it back a bit, at an unexpected moment. Sort of like a cat on a leash.Comment

I can't stand Abby, Chad or Chabby. But since TPTB keep trying to claim that Chabby are true love, why do they write Abby as such an idiot? She's constantly telling everyone other than Chad about her issues, most appallingly Stefan. And WTF was with her letting him come with her to the hospital. He said she needed to talk to someone. She already spoke with JJ. She could have just told Stefan she didn't need him and that she had people to talk to. Insead, she let him assume that not calling Chad (something she should not be discussing with Stefan anyway) meant she wasn't confiding or leaning on anyone.
I have always found the writing for Chad and Abby to be shallow and full of shortcuts and revisionist histories. But when they finally decided to make them a "meant to be" couple, the at least initially wrote them as people who were in love and acted like people who trusted and had faith in one another. Since MM has been in the role, it's been all creating their own problems or making those from outside influences worse through stupidity.Comment
