What's next for Ben?

So it's clear to me that Ciara will hide behind Tripp for awhile to fight her feelings for Ben. In the meanwhile; thanks to RSW, I am a BenFF and I am interested in his story progressing. Any thoughts?? I really want a true friend for him but that is tough considering his past.

With Jordan returning he'll have an ally but that's not for a while. I can't think of a Salemite he could build a friendship with.

I'm kinda pleased he's out of the apartment but that begs the question will he just be floating?

Sadly, I think he’s just mainly gonna be off camera for the time being. Ron does such a poor job balancing these story lines. He’ll likely return to one of the local homeless shelters. We’ll occasionally see him pop up around town (and in Ciara’s fantasies) throughout the month. Then in November the real person who set the fire will be revealed. That person will likely try to hurt Ciara again but Ben will step in and save her. This will hopefully change Ciara’s mind in terms of needing more Ben in her life. This is my guess anyways.

We still have the "you're beautiful" scene coming, so it's not like they're gonna just stop interacting. Not sure about Sarah. She's been gone for many years, but she's no doubt heard the horror stories about him. We've seen RSW with KL on insta a lot lately, so maybe Rex?

I agree with you. It is a dumb move. But based off episode descriptions he’s not gonna appear for the rest of this week or at all next week. By that point we’ll be halfway through October. Theyll probably then milk him along until Wyatt returns and we find out he was the one who actually set the fire. Hopefully after that we start seeing much more Ben.

I'm hoping for more Ben and Marlena scenes, he seemed to genuinely care about what she thinks, and Ben needs a sounding board.
