I don’t want the character with either guy. Tripp is too boring for her and as much chemistry as Cin have, I’m sorry, but I can’t get past Ben being a serial killer. I’ve tried to give him a chance, I see his redemption, I see the chemistry, the slow burn, him acknowledging his past and mental illness etc. I get all of that, but the fact that he killed three innocent women is something I can’t let go of. Mental illness or not, he still killed them. So I want Ciara with someone completely new. I wish they would bring Theo back with the former portrayer or a recast. If not him, then I wish they would bring on someone totally new for her, preferably not anyone already on the canvas or anyone who she’s related too, which is about most of the men on the show.

I agree with you. Ciara and Ben are a popular pairing and Days needs that, so I know they will milk them for all they are worth. I accept it.
But, I'm not a fan.
Tripp isn't the guy for Ciara either. It's obvious that she cares for him, but this newfound trust and commitment is coming off the back of feeling betrayed by Ben.
Ciara's best friend and true love with always be Theo Carver. Can't wait for him to come back and stir up some trouble once she and Ben get together.

... If They Were going to bring Ben back they should have made him another Character.... that would have been best for Ben... and Ciara....

I love Tripp and Ciara but if they were going to put Ciara with someone that is not Tripp even though they have a lot of chemistry I would want Ciara to be with Theo. I will never be a fan of Ciara and Ben ever he is a serial killer and always will be. Tripp is a good guy who is not a player and he should get away from Ciara and Claire and they should put Tripp with someone new someone who is not going to hurt him he deserves better than the way he is being treated by Ciara and he deserves better than being harassed by Claire who can't stop kissing him. Tripp should move out of the apartment and move on with his life and be a doctor like he wanted and go to med school.Comment

People seem to forget what Tripp did to Kayla and Steve... he is a sneaky person and he is the one who put that print on the can that hope found... he will no longer be in Ciara's bed when she finds out he is the one who set Ben up..... Can't wait.... he deserves exactly what he gets... I hope he is charged with a crime... because it is...Comment

This is what I wished too. RSW could’ve still come on as a grey character or a bad boy. Heck, I would’ve taken him being a drug dealer or a hitman who wanted to be reformed once he met Ciara, but the serial killer aspect is why I can’t be fully invested into Cin.Originally posted by J_Sam View PostComment

It's a hard one to swallow, but I can forgive him because it was a big mistake to take him to such an extreme in the first place IMO. He was thrown under the Chabby bus (and backed over several times) and that alone grants him my sympathy LOL. But besides that, his chemistry with Ciara is just undeniable. So much so, that I find myself almost not caring about his past. I see the good man he is now and wants to be again (one reason I can buy his redemption is I remember 2014 Ben, so I knew that guy was still in there somewhere), and that's what matters the most to me. JMO.Comment

I too wish Ciara would find someone new. I just can't with Tripp, the show has proven they have no interest in this character, too bad because I love the actor. Ben Is a great character if he wasn't a serial killer, his victims were in the prime of their life. I'm glad the show isn't shying away from Ben's past, but a brutal serial killer goes beyond a simple mental illness. Ben is mentally okay only if he stays on his meds, or he becomes a murderer, Ciara is shouldn't be involved with him.Comment

If I can't accept Ben then Will is still dead, there are no dopplegangers, Hope is in prison for murdering Stefano, and on and on. The Ben/Ciara story is the only potential redeeming feature of this show - everything else is a repeat. As far as Theo is concerned, he seemed a very nice person - but boring. I feel the same only for the fact I want Tripp away from Ben/Ciara/Claire. When Lucas Adams came on board his acting and portrayal of Tripp was far from boring he had everyone hating on Tripp (and Imo did his job since the character wasn't suppose to be liked) now FF and that feisty guy has become a prop for Ciara and that's my opinion.

Here is an unpopular opinion, but I don't care that Ben is a serial killer. He killed pointless characters, and the saddest death was the dayplayer, Wendy, and Will is now alive, so.... eh.Comment

I wouldn't mind if Theo returned, but it has to be a good recast. Someone with chemistry with everyone and acting talent. Theo would be better in this triangle than Tripp.Comment

IA with you mostly, I was a fan of Ciara and Theo before she dropped him because she wanted a bad boy and went after Chad, then started sniffing after Chase. IMO Ciara and Theo should have been the soulmate pairing based on their childhood closeness but hey, life goes on. I don't find Tripp boring but I do think the better chemistry is with the actors who portray Ben and Ciara; I agree with you the serial killer thing has me giving a pass on CIN. Maybe if it was anyone else but a young Ciara who was raped. Unfortunately for us CIN is extremely popular so the show will go with that paring. I do wish they bring Theo back on canvas even if it is not to place him with Ciara; the character IMO is important to the show. I don't like either Ben or Tripp. Tripp is a bore and a manipulator, imo. Ben, of course, is an "ex" serial killer and that has a sorts of draw backs. But I also just do not like him. IMO, Ben is a jerk. Whenever the two are in a scene together, it is like watching a p!$$ing contest. Time to bring back a refreshed Theo and see if Ciara has finally gotten over her attraction for the bad boy and see if she can finally appreciate a sweet, good guy.Comment
