I Want A Fighting Abby
I want a fighting Abby! Remember when she was spunky when Ashley Benson was playing her? Remember her independence back in 2017, when Marci is playing her? Abby is just passing her life by and not doing her actions of knowing the truth of Gabi. At one point few weeks ago, I thought Abby was waking up and seeing Gabi for the first time....but now, it's like she is in the trace of her life passing by....

Hard for Abby to see what is happening with Gabi, when Abby is drugged unconscious. So, blaming the victim Abby here doesn't work. I'm quite sure if Abby had a clue that Gabi has gone this dark and evil on her, Abby would be "fighting back"!Comment

Well either drugged or awake, Abby just doesn’t react much really to anything.
The other day when she asked Gabi to tell her how she really felt about Abby, Abby just stood there like she could start whistling Dixie or something.

Hopefully that's where this story is heading. I hope it's Abby who eventually takes Gabi down. I want her to be the one who figures it all out. It's going to make watching Gabi's downfall that much better for me. She's going to finally learn (hopefully) that she'll never win over Abby.Comment

Abby doesn't have to fight... yet.
She is wary of Gabi and her intentions. She is questioning her intentions, she and JJ are putting their heads together to try and figure out what happens.
Once all is exposed... she will do her best to make sure her baby is safe and kick Gabi to the curb where she belongs!Comment

Now that made me laugh! Those are two words that should never be used to describe Abigail. After all the things she's done, angelic and pure don't even show up on the radar anymore. She's more than capable of taking care of herself and hurting other people while being coddled by everyone around her. IMO, MM's acting has nothing to do with this. It doesn't matter who is in the role, the actress is only playing out what's been scripted for her and KM would be doing the same thing that Marci is portraying right now, if she was in the role. Right now, Abby is being portrayed as the total helpless victim, being made to think her mental illness has returned. How is she supposed to fight that? She has no idea that Gabi is up to such malicious, evil acts. Plus, as I've said, Abigail has been drugged incoherent, twice now, she can't fight back if she's being drugged. Seems like another thread to just bash Abigail, and now it seems MM's acting. Totally unnecessary, IMO!Comment

I disagree. MM's confrontations with Stefan, Gabi, Kate leave A LOT to be desired. Abby is confronting people and you get nothing from MM. KM, AB would at least show something. You like MM, good for you. I find always blaming the writing for actor's weaknesses as a cop out. I am not talking about this storyline. I don't think MM is a bad actress. I disagree completely! Marci can bring on the fierceness when she is directed to do so. So, no, not buying that MM is the weak link here. She wasn't nominated for an Emmy for nothing. Marci can portray anything she is given!

They're painting Abby as an innocent person because she is innocent. It won't be any different with Kate Mansi. Kate Mansi's Abby still remained friends with Gabi even though she killed Nick in cold blood and after what she did to Melanie.Originally posted by tiff5555 View Post

When MM first started she wanted to bring more out in Abby but they kept telling her to hold off to stretch out the storyline. That's probably what they're doing now too. It's not her fault. She's just doing what she's being told to do.Originally posted by JackandJenfan View PostComment
