Why don't Jenn's romantic pairings ever work out?

The majority of fans, including myself, thought they were a complete bore. She came off more like his mother than his partner and she even babysat him when he was a small child. Eric should be with someone his own age like Gabi or Chloe. Jennifer would be better with Roman. Eric is a stud and JenJen made him boring.

Probably for the same reason that they don't work out for Lucas as well. Unfortunately, Jen is just a boring character with nothing exciting to bring to the table. Unless she's with a "bad boy", it doesn't work. Same goes for Lucas. He needs someone like Sami or Chloe to balance him out.

Not based on the true history of Jennifer's life. No matter how Jennifer treated Jack during the Daniel debacle (due to poor writing) there's absolutely no way she loved Daniel (or anyone) more than Jack (I don't care what the writers had her say or do). And FYI I hated how she treated Jack during that time but her "love" for Daniel was totally superficial and forced.

Noooo...thats all fake soapland stuff.. it's because melissa never had chemistry with any of the actors with whom she was paired. She had chemistry with billy warlock (frankie) She had chemistry with that Brooks dude who played peter blake (side-eye)and she has chemistry with matt ashford. every other relationship failed because they were forced and not at all born out of any real human chemistry, like the majority of soap's contemporary couples

Respect your opinion. There was no chemistry between her and Peter Blake. Minimal only with Frankie. Enigmatic Jack ignited her though, and I loved every second if it. He, and only he, has ever made her shine.
