Gabi does not care about Abby and Chad's baby she is endangering that child every time she drugs Abby. I do think the drug is going to end up making Abby go into premature labor and she is going to have her baby and it will all be because Gabi drugged her. Gabi is a sociopath she has no feelings and doesn't care about who she hurts she is a full on sociopath. -

This is quite disturbing and I don't care that Gabi checked to see that this was safe for pregnant women. She's gone well beyond that fake concern. Obviously the drug was never intended to be give triple the dosage and triple, twice in one day. This is beyond disturbing. I thought I read in the beginning before this story even started that they weren't going to take Gabi "too dark". Well, they sure have blown that to smithereens, since it doesn't get any more dark than drugging a pregnant woman, now twice in one day, and posing risk to Abigail and her unborn child, and not considering that Abby can't respond if Thomas needs her, so that's putting another child at risk. Gabi needs taken away in a straight jacket and locked up forever for this!!Comment

Kate says "You're drugging a pregnant woman." And then she just proceeds with the plans?
I do not understand her. She keeps encouraging Chad to be with Abby and even said that pregnant women get tired, it's to be expected. She told him not to give up on Abby cause everything will be okay in the end.
She is straddling both sides and it's hard to feel like she has any real interest in Chad's happiness when she is allowing his wife and baby to be drugged. And ANY medication is dangerous in high dosages. Hell, anything period... take 6 vitamins in a day or drink to much water... just cause something is safe does not mean you can overindulge.Comment

Yeah, Kate's as bad as Gabi now, because she knows now Abigail is being drugged, posing harm to Abby and Abby and Chad's unborn child and Thomas too and she's still going along with it. A few years back... Abby, Theresa and Gabi were all walking around as young mothers... personally, I thought it was too early to saddle ALL of them with babies. But, it's already done... and I don't mind one more (but, it is pretty soon after Thomas)... Jack and Jen had two kids, so I don't mind the same for Chad and Abby.Comment

I didn't like any of them being saddled as young moms either although in Gabi's case its more plausible to me because it hasn't slowed down the character any like it has Abby and Theresa. Abby with two kids slows her down considerably as I don't consider her especially KM's version all that maternal. Theresa had a lot of hell raising years in her before they stuck her with a kid.
Jack and Jen's kids were years apart( it wasn't until they SORAS'd JJ did the age gap shorten) and they went through a lot between Abby and JJ's births.
There are other characters on this show who waited ages for a kid(Brady, Nicole) and others who don't even have one(Eric) that would've been preferable to have a kid over Chad/Abby who just had a kid. This kid isn't going to drive story in the near future. Thomas is one thing but this one is pointless since Thomas just happened. Another Dimera/Horton child isn't going to register at this point. Its also lazy that this is the best they could come up with a more compelling story would be if Abby lost the kid and managed to get through it with sanity intact then Chad found out it was really his afterwards and seeing them deal with that. -

You make a lot of good points, especially about other characters waiting a long time to procreate. Personally, I'm only happy about it because it's Chad and Abby. Luckily, they were smart and didn't give Lani a baby already. She's a cop and has a lot of action-packed story to be told!

Maybe the sleeping pills on Days, does not affect pregnant ladies
....if they did, Abby would have problems with her fetus...or the baby would have learning problems...

If Chad was as concerned about Abby as he was whining and weeping to Kate, why instead of going home to Victor's doesn't he go home to his M-I-L's? Chad is talk but no action! Abby as per Kate is six months pregnant, next week, she'd be nine months and although Thomas is with the Nanny that's been raising him since birth, Chad if he really loves his wife as he claims, should man-up and put on his big boy's brief and go home to his M-I-L and be there for his pregnant wife! After all, he found her asleep with Thomas crying in his nursery! He whined and cried to Kate that she's sleeping a lot! DUH! She's six months pregnant of course she's sleeping a lot! She's home alone. He's not working so why isn't he there with his wife instead of sitting in a bar whining and moaning to Kate? If Stefan inform him that she texted him and when he got there she didn't remember texting him, I won't be shocked nor surprised if he gets in Stefan's face instead of taking his sorry pathetic low life arse home to his M-I-L's and be with his wife!Comment

The pills won't harm the baby and that's been said a few times first by Kayla and now Gabi to Kate. If she's concerned about why she's suddenly sleeping a lot maybe she should call her husband and ask him to drive her to the hospital where blood would be taken and analyzed. Speaking of her husband

Uh, I don't believe that Kayla would stand behind that they're safe, if she knew Gabi was giving Abigail triple doses, more than once a day. Besides, none of that matters. Gabi doesn't know how these pills could affect Abigail. Everyone reacts to meds differently. Abby is on other meds, which could have an adverse affect reacting to these drugs. Gabi showing fake concern that she made sure the pills won't harm the child is just that, FAKE, since she's giving triple doses. The whole thing is sick and not even close to being justifiable! -
If the pills were having an adverse effect due to Abby's medication for mental illness we would know by now because she would be sick. I've seen nothing on the show that tells me the dosage Gabi gave her is harming she and the baby. All she's doing is sleeping. I talk about what I see and not what I don't. Kayla is an unethical doctor so is she in a position to look down her nose at Gabi?

You have valid questions but there seem to be no answers! What was actually another eye rolling moment was Abby calling and whining to JJ that Gabby is back! Huh? Why didn't she call her husband? It would seem, he'd be the first she'd call not her brother! Then again, she's not as stupid as she looks and sound, she knew, he wouldn't come nor careless about her! After all, he told her to STHU about having DID and STOP blaming her alters for HER actions! I ROFL and cheered him on for telling her the truth and nothing but the truth! Oh, please, Jennifer is only around her children when they need coddling and enabling! Right now, it's all about Eric and singing her sad pathetic swan song that he's leaving her for Nicole! She's just as dense and pathetically delusional as Abby! She found Eric broken and kissed and bandaged his hand and thought he would actually forget his first love for her! -
Between you and me I believe deep inside Chad would divorce her but he's afraid of what people would think of him leaving a mentally ill wife.
He's fed up with her bouts of mental instability and I can see that on his face everytime he's in a scene with other people discussing her.
Maybe if he goes back to telling her some more truths about her behavior he would become more relaxed in his truth and make the necessary move towards happiness and leave her for good.
How could Jennifer not know from the beginning she and Eric wouldn't work? As long as Nicole is alive they won't. -
Very good observation about why Chad hasn't completely walked away especially since he's CEO of TE! What would the stock holders & board members think learning their CEO left his mentally insane wife that has psychotic psychopaths for alters? That's why he should man-up and put on his big boy's brief and be with her, if not for her then for the safety and well being of Thomas and the unborn baby! After all, he knew exactly what kind of woman she was when he married her!

The pills are anti-climatic because we know she has the baby, so no harm is gonna happen because of the pills. This is just a ploy for Gabi to look like a villain and Abby to be a blameless victim - again.Comment
