So I don't think Hope planted evidence but that someone did. My question is did the person plant it to get rid of Ben. Or did they hope that Hope would find it an it would blow up in her face. Ending with her losing her job. Wanting to hurt Hope. The question is if this is true who would want to hurt Hope. What do you guys think.

Tripp planted it to get Ben away from Ciara. It never occurred to him that anyone would catch on to the evidence being planted and blame Hope. -
I think Wyatt set up Ben it sure wasn't Ben at all he didn't even know about it till Hope told them what was planted. Plus, Tripp also doesn't know where the cabin was I think it was Wyatt who is setting Ben up and Hope just to get back at Ciara for turning him down and Claire could be helping him or something but I know it was not Tripp he wouldn't do that he is a good guy and he would never set up anyone know matter how much of a serial killer they are.Comment

I rewatched the episode where Ciara first woke up in the cabin a few days ago. Tripp was talking to Wyatt on the phone asking if he's seen her. That could've tipped him off. He's a tech genius, he could've tracked her phone about the same time Rope did. It's likely that after being dumped by Ciara again, he became obsessed with her. He may have started the fire so he could play hero, except Rope got there first. I don't know why else they would bring him back for a few episodes in November except to say he did it.

Well okay then, is the fact that Tripp is involved the shocking aspect of what they find? Are they going to arrest Tripp before he can trip the light fantastic with the waffle queen on Monday? Unlikely. Trippy must get first dibs. Ugh. The spoiler said Rope finds shocking evidence on the 28th. Could it be something connected to Stefano? Why does anyone besides Hope want to set Ben up?
