A month or two ago Claire told Ciara that because of her rape Claire believed that Ciara feels like she deserves a bad guy. While I know she was referring to Ben that in reality is playing out very differently on screen. Tripp is actually that bad guy. I said in another post recently I didn’t think Tripp was a bad guy, but after watching him today I completely take that back. He absolutely is. Guilty Ciara; making everything her fault. It was disgusting to watch. This guy has absolutely no respect or appreciation for her. If he didn’t have Ciara he would just replace her with Claire in 2 seconds. I love Ciara, but I truly feel bad that she thinks Tripp is the guy she deserves to be with.

Tripp knows that witnessing him kiss Claire caused her to be so upset that she got in an accident and didn't want to come home. Even though her leg was broken but here he is at it again.
With the lamest of excuses. She's happy about her grandmother plus you weren't here. Maybe if you were it wouldn't have happened.
It's almost like she's trying to save face with her rivarly with Claire. More than actually having feelings for Tripp and is just settling with the "safe" choice. Even though his actions show her. She's not safe with him. She said to him over the phone, "you deserve to be with someone normal. Someone who hasn't been raped" and his answer is to end up in a liplock with Claire again...

No Ben is the bad guy Tripp is a good guy and he is a really good guy. Tripp would never replace Ciara with Claire he doesn't want Claire at all she is just someone he thinks of as a friend. Ciara is who Tripp wants and he is a very good guy the only bad guy on the show is serial killer Ben and he will always be a bad guy. Claire was right when she said that Ciara think she deserves a bad guy which is Ben in this case she was completely right. Ben is a horrible guy and Ciara deserves better then Ben.Comment

I’m sorry but I could not disagree with you more. For one, it’s so obvious that Tripp is into Claire. Just look at the way he acts with her. Look how he ran to her after Ciara couldn’t have sex with him. Look how he let Claire kiss him and do absolutely nothing to stop her. He does not appreciate Ciara. He doesn’t understand what she has been through nor does her really care to try. He just wants her to conform to the person he wants her to be. He has absolutely no respect for her or who she is. And I didn’t want to go here but this has to be said. Ben was an awful person because of his abuse and I diagnosed mental illness. Now that he’s working on himself and taking medication he’s proving he’s naturally a good person. Tripp on the other hand has no reason to act the way he’s been acting other than that is just naturally who he is. He’s arrogant and think people should conform to what he deems acceptable. If they don’t like Ciara he makes them emotionally feel bad and hate themselves. Tripp truly is a rotten person.Comment

Nothing Tripp does will ever make him worse then Ben. As for Ciara liking bad guys, it was shown on screen long before she was raped she was into the bad boys. This is why she broke up with Theo the first time because he was too nice. She was even shown liking Chase bad boy persona before he raped her.l I think this is why she is attracted to Ben because she does want to live on the dark side and who better to take you there than a serial killer.Comment

See this is a big issue I have right here. Basically Tripp can be as cruddy as a person as he wants, yet some will still consider him better than Ben because he never actually murdered anyone. Even though he committed attempted murder and was not mentally ill like Ben? When healthy Ben is 100% better than Tripp. Tripp has no consideration for Ciara and her feelings. Just look how he treated her yesterday. She caught him kissing another woman, again, and then made it her fault. He actually blamed her for the kiss. This guy is whacked. Ciara should have slapped him for that. Ben has shown way more consideration for Ciara's feelings or for her as a person than Tripp ever has. A guy who murdered 4 people is better than Tripp because he kissed another girl - that is normal behaviour - kissing other people - messing up - making mistakes - mass murder - no comparison. -
That being said - I do like Ben darnit. But I'm having a hard time getting over what he did. Thinking he is good enough for Bo and Hope's daughter. -

Ben is so darn likable. You can't resist his charm. He's about as charismatic as you can get. I definitely think he's good enough for Ciara. He appreciates and cares for her. I don't even believe he'll be angry at her for doubting him. Sad yes, but upset at her? Never. He still thinks the world of her no matter what. Tripp on the other hand thinks kissing another girl is justified if your girlfriend has left your apartment. I can't with that guy...
I still think Ben is better than Tripp. Yes, I know he killed people, but like I said he was ill and could not think or act with proper accord. He's been showing when he has that ability he does act like a good person. Tripp on the other hand has had that ability all along and naturally acts terribly to Ciara.
