That ventilator business had to be one of the must absurd medical scenes Days has had in a while. They walk in and Kayla has already removed it but not turned off the switch. "Marlena" is only on oxygen. And they all stand around, crying and praying. Then Kayla flips the switch and they all act like she's just been taken off the thing even though it hadn't been connected the whole time. Then it turns out it's Hattie and the fun begins!

With all this going on, I thought it might be fun to revisit some of the more memorable absurdities that have taken place at the hospital. What comes to mind for everyone?

Not anymore. Last one or two times around we got looks at both legs. Flesh and bone, 5 toes per foot, moving naturally. That's in addition to the way he walked.

Another one involving Rafe: When he was in a coma, Bernardi, on Stefano's instructions, was about to "cut it off", Sami happened to be in the bathroom with a gun and she shot Bernardi to save Rafe. But it turned out she wasn't the one who killed him.

Loving the stories! I'd forgotten about some of them. The good, the bad, and the downright bizarre! That leg of Philip's - proof that miracles do occur in Salem! Maybe Dr. Rolf developed a limb regrowth serum and tested it on Philip without Philip's knowledge. "Oh, my leg grew back last night. That's cool. And no one even remembers I should have a prosthetic leg? Even cooler."

I actually just talked about that one with Stefano paralyzing everyone last night.
