CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    Chabby out and Cin in!

    I think it's great timing with Chabby leaving. A pairing which gets lots of focus in the canvas that Cin just took off and is so popular. What are the odds that Ron would strike gold like that?

    Its not even about personal preference because shipping can be very subjective - just the very clear reaction that fans have had to Cin. Whether you're on board or not.

    Thoughts? Intentional or lucky break?

    Well in the interview with Victoria and Rob it sounds like tptb didn't know how Cin would be received. They have to know now and it would be foolish beyond words not to capitalize on this pairing.

      Hmmm....well I fast forward them and may stop watching the show. He's a serial murderer of 3 innocent women and tried to kill 3 more people. No excuses...and I hate that he is being made in a romantic coupling with Bo's daughter.

      PennyB I totally understand. I have been there myself, not understanding how some could root for a romantic pairing due to certain circumstances. In real life of course I would never be down with this, but is a soap and the chemistry is unreal. I do however respect those who disagree with me.

      What's amazing Cin aren't an official couple and unlike C&A we weren't told they're the couple to root for bc they are "soulmates."

        That was the majority of opinions even on this board as it played onscreen. But you have an unhealthy hate of Chabby so I guess I should not expect any honesty or logic. But I will go with the "opinions" of all those others as well as several soap critics at the time it played out.

I don't go by what fans of their fan base has to say bc they are not the majority of viewers! I find it hilariously funny the name calling and poster bashing to those that aren't fans of C&A just to try and make your point! smh

      It was most definitely a lucky break. It was also mentioned in that interview Joluiscute brought up that RSW and VK weren't even chem tested before the cabin scenes were taped. And they just ooze it. And now it's exploded in popularity. The show definitely knows how popular they are now, so I'm sure they're gonna run with it.

        I’m just happy that there was a reunion with J & J and their kids before KM stopped taping. Can’t wait for those scenes

      I think it is luck! Writers try but are never sure which couples really will take off. Ben was a bore before he became a serial killer and then everyone was "WOW" he really can act.....and then his serial killer story was constantly talked about and people loved the actor. Then when they decided to bring him back and redeem him, not only was his cabin performance fantastic, but the stars just seemed to align with the new Ciara and the chemistry went off the charts. It likely would not have worked with the old Ciara. So again, everything aligned. And it is good timing since MM, BF, and KM have left. The same thing actually happened with Chabby. Once BF took over as Chad, the chemistry with KM was off the charts and then struck twice with MM.

        Somehow I do think you are right. They just kinda managed to stumble upon Cin. Based off everything I’ve heard from the actors nobody had any idea this could happen. I really hope NBC and Days recognize what they have and pursue it like crazy.

      Cin like Chabby were both put together by writers they are very similar I like cin but they are just starting out and so far Hope is thier biggest agnst What else makes them interesting ? It takes more then good chemistry to be a great paring !

        I would not compare Chabby to Cin. Abby is not paired with a "serial killer". Unfortunately, it looks like Ciara will be stuck with a psycho serial killer. No comparison what so ever. Chad is a kind and loving man. Ben is a monster! I pity Ciara!

          Actually you are correct. I think there is chemistry with CIN but I think they are appealing mostly to younger viewers. But yes, a LOT of logic has to be thrown out the window as it would be crazy in the real world to think any of this would ever happen. A serial killer would not get out of prison or a looney bin (especially in such a short time). If it were not for the incredible acting of RSW, I do not think it could be pulled off. Even with that, time will tell if it works in the long run.

          Too bad that Hope and Bo's daughter is paired with a murderer. You cannot claim that he didn't know what he was doing and THAT is the test for mental incapacity. He murdered Paige and Serena...carefully buried them. He took Wendy to deliver Abby's baby and killed her in cold blood. How can Ciara even think of sleeping with this guy?

        Heard that February that CHABBY is off or April/May of 2019 from our tv screens. Don't know if Days will recast or what. Most likely ask the same actors back for small arc stories like SHELLE.

          As somebody who was unashamedly rooting for Ben to kill Chabby in 2015, then watched him get shipped off to prison while Chabby dominated the show with their melodrama for three more years, this is oddly vindicating to me.

            Whether it’s just timing that one pairing is out and the other is just starting...I would take Cin over Chabby sorry to say. Cin doesn’t need propping every second of every day on every show, they have onscreen chemistry, and they are not dull, insufferable or need to destroy others completely to look good. RSW and VK are doing a fantastic job with Ben’s return and redemption! Cin all the way!

              If Chabby needs propping, makes you wonder about the props being used. They must don’t have anything or do with those props but make Chabby looks good. I know Ben was a nobody before he became a Chabby PROP.

            I pass on both. They are both toxic pairings. I will say that some Ben/Ciara fans(on message boards, as well as twitter, etc.) are being a little too overzealous at the moment, and they should pull back a couple of notches before they run this possible pairing into the ground.

                Agree Loyal, he’s no longer a serial killer and should not be referred as that especially when its not seen on our screen now. It’s not opinion related either.

              Totally agree. I was not a fan of Ben before. I found him dull. He wasn't even on my radar. Then I see a pic of him carrying Ciara. After having quit Days several months ago, I came back to see what that was about. I believe their chemistry was fire from the beginning. It never could have worked with the old Ciara. It's definitely RSW and VK. Clearly from the fan reaction, people just saw something between them. Those days at the cabin just solidified their foundation.

              Despite the fact I'm not a fan of Chad anymore, I understand that BF ran with the character when he took on the role and there was a positive reaction to the chemistry between KM and BF.

              So with Chabby's departure it's great that Ron doesn't need to scramble around looking for ways to fill the canvas. He could balance and play between the other stories and Cin, knowing that they have received a good reaction.

                Cin is the young leading couple we deserve. As someone who’s always rooted for Ben against Chabby, I’m so happy that RSW is back and Ben character will be leading the show now.

                Now the show will have a lead pairing played by respectful actors who know how to give back to fans and treat them well.

                The other thing that I love about Cin is how they can stand on their own. They survived almost two months of a storyline on their own stuck in the cabin. They didn’t need anyone to prop them up. Just good chemistry and amazing acting. Chabby can’t even go on a month without needing an interloper and a prop.

                Cin doesnt dominate the show either, Ron use them effectively and let other storylines be front and center at the same time just like he said doing now with the Jarlena wedding fiasco.

                I’m living in Cin and I can’t wait for more!

                  I am sad that this soap "deserves" a man who murdered three innocent women in cold blood, terrorized 3 more...as a romantic lead.
