Please correct me if I'm wrong, and I would love to hear people who disagree with me, but since when does making someone be obligated to being with you mean they're in love? Will is in love with Sonny. Will thinks of Paul as a friend, and thinks Paul is a great guy, but I don't see why Will being with Paul as a boyfriend would make Paul feel any better. Will could still be with Paul as a friend and still love him and support him, while in a relationship with Sonny. Wouldn't Paul want to be with a man that loves him like he deserves to be loved? Wouldn't Paul want a boyfriend who loves him like a boyfriend? I don't understand why Sonny needed to break up with Will. Paul would want to know the truth, not being lied to or deceived. I think that if we're in a hospital bed we wouldn't want someone to be with us simply because of obligation, duty, or guilt. We would want people around us who want to be there for us because they truly love us. Am I wrong?

Jennifer was hoping to claim it for 2018 but Paul is pretty persistent.
If they just told him the truth, I wonder if he would still want Will to choose to be with him and ignore his returned feelings of love for Sonny.

Of course they can be together, Paul is leaving this month. In no time at all, Will and Daddy will be together again.

Yes, I agree. I also think Paul is strong enough to handle it emotionally. He knew what he was getting into, and knew of the possibility and even suspected things that are now actually playing out (Will's memories returning, old feelings remembered).

I had no problem with Will telling Paul that he wanted to go back to Daddy Sonny, just don't do it the moment he woke up from surgery.

Yeah, I thought when Brady was lashing out at Will, I wanted Will to say, "So you want me to stay with Paul out of obligation, even though I realize I still love Sonny? Is that what you want for your brother? How will that help him? Will that help his recovery? Will that make him a better person? And most importantly, will Paul want to be with someone who would rather be with someone else?

Will was in love with Paul. Do I want him now staying in a relationship because of pity? No. But they shouldn't have had Will remember everything and not be torn. He loved Sonny more does not equate to Paul is "such a good friend." Will had feelings for Paul that was real. Paul deserves better than both Will and Sonny.

Sorry, sonia, Will does love Paul. He didn't say it to him numerous times just to appease Paul -- unless now you are calling Will a liar. 'Cause if you are, how are we to believe that he really knows what love is all about when he waxes poetic about his love for Sonny. So let's just take him at his word. He feels his love for Sonny is stronger, but he loves Paul, too. Saying he can only love one of them is like saying you can't have two friends you love for different reasons.
As much as you want Horita fans to accept Will loves Sonny now and move on, accept that Will loved Paul and move on.Last edited by cali815; September 12, 2018, 11:58 PM.

If Paul deserves better then he needs to stop dropping his pants for them at a moment's notice. Like have some self respect. They're just not that into you!

Given the timing of Christopher Sean's announcement he was leaving, I'm kind of thinking that what we're seeing now was filmed before he announced he was leaving. So, I'm thinking that the plan based on what we're now seeing is that Will and Paul stay together long enough for Will to fall back in love with Paul. The idea is to postpone Wilson reuniting as long as possible. When Paul leaves prematurely, that means the story will take another path.
I'm hoping the plan was for Wilson to cheat behind Paul's back, and that begins ASAP.

While I don’t believe in kicking someone while their down, I don’t believe they are doing Paul
a favor by letting him live a lie. Will should support
him through his recovery but he should eventually come clean when PAUL is stronger.

@CHKDeWilson, I am absolutely clear on who I am talking about. And Will's relationship with Paul was about more than dropping trou whether some people like to admit it or not.
The phrase "keep their pants on" was a general comment as in "hold your horses" -- which does not mean that someone is actually holding horses that belong to them.
So I mean they can hold their horses and keep their pants on until Paul is on more stable ground.

cali815 Well it's just strange you would bring up WilSon 'can keep their pants on' when what my impression of what is being shown on screen is more about them being a family again with Ari than them having lustful thoughts about getting into bed together. But I guess sometimes we see what we want to see.
There's no doubt from ME that Will was in a (5 month) relationship with Paul where their were/are feelings involved, it's just I never believe it was greater or better than Will and Sonny.

I dont know if CS exit is affecting things here, probably. But they still could have written things better.

He did love Paul, was in love with Paul. I would like to think Will has some integrity that he wasnt messing with Paul all this time. The only story that should have been told was Will, being torn period.
Let me put it this way, if you'd only been watching this show since January of this year, you would have to be so confused that Will is suddenly acting like he's completely neutral about the guy he's been crazy about for 8 months and suddenly he's longing to be with someone that acts like his life insurance agent. Forget about history, we can see what's in front of us with our own two eyes. Every time Sonny and Will go in for a hug I cringe. When Will kisses Paul on the forehead I melt. If Will and Sonny are so meant to be, shouldn't I be seeing that?
So yeah, I agree with the OP that Will shouldn't stay with someone out of obligation. But who really believes Will would be staying with Paul out of obligation after what we've seen since January? Honestly, the one he acts more like he's "obligated" to is Sonny.

If I were Paul, I would not want anyone to stay with me out of pity. As crushing as it would be to lose that person, it would be more crushing knowing that while they were with me, their heart and mind would always be somewhere else. Sonny and Will need to tell Paul the truth. They don't have to right this second. I mean, they can let the guy recover a bit or come to terms with his health right now, but don't sit and comfort him and make him believe he is there out of love and not love as a friend, I mean love. Paul deserves better than that. Will doesn't need to lead him on. However, Paul should have known this day would possibly come, that Will would regain his memory and realize his love for Sonny. he took a big risk and unfortunately, He can't blame anyone but himself for the position he is in. Will's side is a bit different. He had no idea how much he loved Sonny, but Paul did. Will couldn't have known that gaining his memories back would mean all the love for Sonny would return with it, cause in his mind, he felt nothing and knew nothing. He really can't be blamed for that, but he will ultimately end up looking like a heartless jerk, if he doesn't come clean.Last edited by kdw877; September 13, 2018, 03:59 AM.
