  • Sami Did Not Intentionally Fire That Gun!

I am watching Wednesday's episode and John is telling Marlena that Sami did not shoot him, but shot her instead. He said she missed making it sound like she fired intentionally which she did not. It was omly because Eric tried to grab the gun away from her that it went off. When are these people gonna get it right? Grrr.

Eric lunged at Sami from behind and the gun went off as they fell. But only Sami is to blame. Yeah right! Has Eric even said anything about that or is he letting his twin just take the total fall?

I know. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone watching the characters rewrite history in real time every day on the show. John saw the whole thing. He should've said, "Sami had been drugged, and Eric tried to get the gun away from her, and in all the chaos the gun went off."

Eric and John both should have come to Sami's defense and gotten this straightened out PDQ. But how else would Sami have fallen into Rafe and Hope's orbit, and all that nonsense in the police dept. gone down. Amazing plot development, folks! **Not!** This all is so stupid and makes me very, very angry.

It's weird how characters are remembering things. It did appear Sami was considering shooting John, but she didn't. I still don't understand why she didn't just shoot Kristin, or at least wound her until she told her about EJ.

The only reason the gun went off, is because Eric grabbed it. I don't believe she would have shot John.

The whole storyline is geared around cementing Sami as "Hurricane Sami-tragedy and mayhem follow her everywhere". However, the storyline trope is a bit hackneyed. She was not responsible for shooting her Marlena. If anyone is to blame, it is Eric for lunging at Sami and starting the chain of events. It's a bit contrived.

People are confused. This is a difficult time and only a day has passed. But Sami is so in love with EJ and hell bent on finding him that she may have pulled the trigger anyway. To me, Eric shot his mother. But in real life, it would have happened so quickly that no one would have seen it play out. Sami had the gun, pointed it at John and shot it. That is the story they believe. Her family thinks she was trying to get Kristen to disclose EJ whereabouts. Being Sami, it’s hard to think she wouldn’t have done it. Look at how she left Paul after he saved her life.

I am not even a big sami fan but i agree....the writers did not show it as her doing it on purpose. Belle and others are just so used to her being bad....and know of her past hate of john...assume she did it on purpose.

First of all, Sami never does anything 'intentionally' - she is an 'accident' looking for a place to happen. (No, I'm not a Sami fan.) But, she could have called the FBI or some real police force and warned everybody instead of dragging herself into the church.
