Like Mother, Like Son - Heartless Will wants to dump Paul the same night!

Damn, how callous can he be? Back-to-back scenes of his mother bailing on an unconscious Paul after he risked his life to save hers, and then Will deciding he simply must dump Paul immediately.

Both characters are despicable. Can Sami take WilSon with her when she leaves?

Honestly watching WilSon rationalizing their destroying Paul while planning their future together really made me sick. Paul is worth 10 of them put together. I wish nothing but hell and destruction for them both.

Will doesn't even know that Paul is in the hospital him wanting to break up with him doesn't mean he would do it while Paul is injured. Will is not cruel and he is nothing like his mother. This is really reaching pretty far to hate a character who doesn't even know the person is in the hospital.

I found it so funny. It's been such a soap filled week. I'm loving it.

In Will's defense he couldn't have known that Paul was injured. It's not like him and Sonny were ripping each other's clothes off. He was planning on how to end his relationship. He was being honest with himself rather than stringing Paul along. It was the MOST decisive soap break up decision in a while.

Paul got what he bargained for by getting involved with Will and Sonny. He was working with a blank canvas for months. Hope he enjoyed it while it lasted. No shade just tea.

Or you can just pretend like their story ends happily ever after just to be smacked in the face that this is a soap and young couples don't get that kind of story for long.

When I think of virtually all the Days supercouples that were created in the 80's, I can't think of one of them that hasn't separated numerous times and got back together.
So many issues and problems have broken them up e.g cheating, amnesia, death of a child to name a few.

The likelihood of WilSon while still on canvas after Paul departs being given a HEA with no drama is just not gonna happen. So I'm sure that I'm not the only one that expects them to have a lot of issues come their way.

Days don't have to give Will and Sonny a cheating SL to cause conflict and pain between them, but as it seems at least to me that Days have no imagination or creativity in their SLs which means then it will inevitably be a new love interest with Will being the favoured candidate.

Now is this what Days are gonna reduce Will to, boxing the character into a corner which that is what he is going to forever be know as? I would hope they wouldn't be that stupid but it very likely although at times I question that some really want this to happen just to have their point about WilSon being valid.

What I do feel is that while I have really dislike a lot of the writing for WilSon as a couple (more so when GW was in the role) and as separate characters in recent times, I will always appreciate and adore them for what they brought especially when Sonny came into Days. Their friendship, Sonny's understanding and support of Will in knowing what he was going through, Will's eventually coming out, the wonderful and tortuous build up to their first proper kiss and ultimately their relationship despite the many, MANY issues they went through.

So yeah they can continue to write them as selfish and unfeeling as they are doing now. They can rush them into the decision to be together again when yes of course both of them should have been much more conflicted about their feeling for Paul. They can even have them do the worse thing and cheat behind Paul's back (which I absolutely would rather didn't happen). And they can reunite them only to break them up again down the road and may end up doing that time and time again (although that depends on if FS and CM stay or eventually leave together or separately), Original WilSon will always have a special place in my heart.

But given the level of reach it took to manufacture the nonsense that comprised the original mumbo jumbo,, I won’t be surprise

It would take some self awareness on Sami's part to put anyone else before herself. As for Sami Jr, If he has regained his memory and he wants to jump on the Daddy Sonny train again, that's fine. Will owe Paul the truth, but hopefully if Paul makes it through surgery, Will can wait until he's fully conscious before telling him he's dumping him for Sonny. Paul has probably thought that this might happen if Will regained his memory, but it's still going to be a shock.

I hate that Paul is getting the short end of the stick here . I have loved this character since he first graced our screens. I wish he was sticking around. He deserves better than Will and Sonny. Both men assured him they loved him and had his back then are tearing his heart out. I hope he eventually returns and doesnt give either of them a second look!
