How much more selfish can she be? It's always EJ, EJ, EJ. Paul just took a swan-dive out of a window to save your sorry behind and you just leave him there, unconscious, possibly paralyzed or dying, to pursue Kristen, not even knowing which direction she's gone? Is she for real? Could she be more selfish, ungrateful and uncaring? She has her laser focus on EJ and no one else matters, not even her children, not even her mother (who she just shot and is battling for her life) and not even the poor guy who risked his life for hers.

All you have said is true, but, as in the past, there will be characters who just make excuses for her. Rafe seems to be the next dupe.

Sami was concerned about Paul, but she wanted to find Kristen, so that the police could arrest her. Brady was in favor of her finding Kristen.

She's not a doctor so she can't revive him. He's unconscious so she can't give him comfort. They already called a ambulance for help. What exactly could she do other than stand there and look dumb? Brady even told her to go after Kristen.

Sami did the right thing. Kristen has 1) caused two people to end up in the hospital 2) kidnapped two people and locked them in a freezer 3) tried to coerce sex from Brady. All of this happening in the span of 24 hours. Kristen is the only one to blame. The keystone cops don't seem interested in catching Kristen at all. Hope is only focused on satisfying a vendetta against Sami even when people's lives hang in the balance. That is selfish. Sami is the best chance to end Kristen's rein of terror. I think Paul would appreciate someone going after the person that caused his injuries.

As for her kids, that is all that she is thinking about. She even said it. Their father has been missing for over 5 years. She owes it to them to find out where EJ is being held and reunite them. I bet you we will see scenes with Sami checking on Paul later.

Sami isn't a doctor.. she's not needed there. there's no story for her standing there over Paul's body.. the plot needs to advance. It's fine.

All anyone is saying is that she didn't even take a nano second, when they all came rushing down, to see
if Paul was alive. She immediately went to raving about Kristen. She doesn't care if the police arrest
Kristen, she has one thing on her mind, and that is for Kristen to tell her where EJ is.

If she don't give a damn about her own mama, why would she care about the guy who saved her sorry life. People are giving Sami way too much credit to think that anything is more important to her than herself and EJ. She's not the big picture girl, she's obsessed with getting back the love of her life. She's willing to do anything and sacrifice anyone to make that happen. She's the little girl that never grew up and her life is constant turmoil, a majority of it is of her own making.

When she was arrested and restrained from running around like a mad dog, she was very concerned about her mother. She practically threatened Hope for keeping her from her dear dying mommy.
But once she's on the loose, she doesn't make a beeline for the hospital.
It's very strange.

I find it such a boor and double standard how both the characters and fans go on and on and on about Sami only being about Sami. Isn't that every character on this show. Aren't they all guilty of being about their selves. Haven't every last character had tunnel vision when it's come to their loved ones. It's ridiculous that Sami gets called on it all the time yet everyone does the exact same thing.

Yep. The most ridiculous character I've ever seen on a soap and I've watched all of them for many, many years. And yes, it was my first thought when Paul was shot - she was only interested in herself. Her fans can defend her to the moon - it will never change my mind.
