Let’s just bring everybody back from the dead. Why not? Tom and Alice Horton, Addie Horton, Shawn Brady Sr, Stefan’s, Mickie Horton, etc. It is getting stupid what the writers will do just to make the viewers happy.

Is it stupid? Yes.
Will I buy it for entertainment? Yes.
In the world of soap logic, it wouldn't make sense to bring back Tom, Alice, Shawn Sr., Stefano, or Addie because their characters are old enough to be truly dead and gone. (And plus Addie's been dead since 1974.)
But anyone under age 60? Fair game. If they're beloved characters who could boost ratings, great. -

Stefano and Andre and Tony and Kristen coming back - ok. It fit with their family and history. After all, they also had the financial means to pull off faking their deaths. And it started fairly quick with Stefano aka The Phoenix.
With Roman, well, Stefano was involved and behind his return.

I have no problem with brining people back from the dead but only if they are beien dead fir a less hen 10 years. Don't bring back those who have been gone for over 20 years..Comment

Soap deaths have lost all meaning, at least on Days. Days mocks death like they mock every other serious topic. They need to stop bringing back the dead, cause I feel nothing anymore when a character "dies". Soap deaths used to be profound, but not anymore, mostly on Days, since within a year or two, or even a decade, Days literally resurrects them! Days has made a joke out of killing anyone off.Comment

At this point in time the ONLY one who I believe would make a real positive difference to the show would be Bo! That's why I even keep on reading the boards always hoping he'll return in some capacity on occasion (Hope desperately needs him - they've about hammered the last nail in her coffin and DAYS needs him more than they want to admit)! Unless a character has "disappeared" and not actually "died", then maybe, just maybe, I can accept them coming back from the great beyond. At this point, the writing has gotten so ridiculous that it's expected for anyone on DAYS to resurface at any time. The only one I could see coming back would be Renee DiMera either as a re-cast (Lisa Peluso would be my choice), or Felice Sampler who played the character originally.Originally posted by Truman View PostComment
