To me Sami is ALWAYS "over the top" and one of the many things I don't like about her, but why would it be so surprising she'd "hug" Rafe when she saw him? Sometimes people want to make Rafe some innocent victim of that insta-sex, but HE'S the one who was betraying a deep love that he believed had JUST ended! Did he really think Sami was seducing him with that hug? Honestly - Rafe is such a loser! Wish he'd reconnect with Sami and leave when she does this time! Hope might have a chance then! -
Sami meant no harm. She said "so nice to see a friend", and gave him a hug. Rafe was very good to Sami and her children. She will be forever grateful. I see why Rafe pulled away though. He does not want any further problems with Hope.Comment

I enjoy Sami being over the top. She helps make the show interesting.
She just wanted someone to believe her. Rafe has given her the benefit of the doubt in the past. I'm fine with them being friendly but never want them to ever again be a couple.Comment

Sami and rafe were awful as a paring he brought her down she had no spark when she was with him Sami gave rafe a hug because She thougt he was her friend and would've atleast listened to her side before automatically judging and blaming her like the rest of the Salem hypocrites like Belle but it looks like Rafe just wants to arrest Sami so he can stay on hopes good side !Comment

definitely wouldn't say that he 'pushed her away' he like, straight up hugged her back. then ..broke the embrace..and began speaking to her. I often wonder i i'm watching the same show as everyone else.Comment

Sami thought Rafe would be her support. But Rafe does not know that....I think it might be a future if Sami pairs with Rafe again with no EJ in sight. I have to see if Days are going to roll with EJ again.

That’s why I find Sami so predictable over the top always about herself or EJ just like Belle said.
I do like AS ( and she has beautiful eyes!) I can take small doses of Sami when done correctly the character is effective.
I know characters like that are needed but a little goes a long way.Comment

Your first sentence here is EXACTLY what he's done to Hope - "brought her down & she has NO SPARK when she's with him" which, unfortunately, has been the great majority of her screen time since Bo left! It's ruined Hope! They, at least, freed Sami of him - not so with poor Hope and just see how her popularity has dropped to the bottom. Sami is not a fault here. Belle & her family could have taken the gun away from Sami. They knew she was drugged, then mention of EJ made her even more distraught. Instead of helping her, they just stood their. Sami should have slapped Belle across the face.
Rafe knows Sami was drugged, which is probably why he has sympathy for her under the circumstances.Comment

There is NO Sami and Rafe. Not sure why people are speculating about them as if there is?? I wonder too, why RC is even playing up an further connection between them, since Sami is not staying. She'll be gone in a few months, so what's the point in RC trying to stir up something between them? They've been over for a while now, and even when they had their tacky ONS, it wasn't about any residual romantic feelings. It was comfort/grief sex over losing their respective relationships with her son and Rafe with Hope. Speculating about Sami and Rafe is feudal, since there's no possibility for them as a couple. They've cemented that EJ is the love of Sami's life and now she has more hint that he is alive, so she'll never give up on him and Hope is it for Rafe too.Comment
