Very odd that during this week of JARLENA's Wedding, that there was no CHABBY, Gabi, and Stefan. Even Eli, Lani, Julie, Doug, Victor, Maggie, Justin, Adrienne, Ciara, Tripp, Ben, Rafe & Hope....I would think there would be more drama and suspense to this. Any thoughts?

There was no reason for Eli Valerie,,Lani,Gabi,Chad ,Abby and Stefan to be there they have no real connection to John and Marlena. ,Comment

Julie and Doug should have been there. Even Chad and Abby, since Chad has had a special connection with Marlena, but I guess since they're on a split now, it just made sense to not have them there at all. All the rest that weren't there, is understandable since they're not close to Marlena or John.Comment

When you are on your sixth or more marriage (Don, Roman, Eugene, John (is this the third or fourth time now?), Alex North)...it's time to go to the JP and give up the big weddings and "something old, new, blue"....people have only so many vacation days, they'd rather spend with their own immediate family. Really...I believe it's budgeting, sad to say. I think Steve and Kayla's boat wedding or Bo carrying Hope away on a motorcycle or Jack showing up on a fire truck are my top 3.Comment

I do agree that some of the rest of the no-shows were odd.
Chad and Abigail: I thought Marlena had said that Abigail had RSVP'd. Chad and Marlena do have a connection so I do think tit would have sense for them to be there. But on the other hand with everything that's happening with them right now I get why they weren't there.
Gabi: I remember an episode where Marlena told Gabi she and John were getting remarried and asked if Arianna could be their flower girl. But that was a couple of years and head writers ago so I guess I can't blame them for forgetting.
Doug and Julie: I thought since they are such good friends of John and Marlena's and the bachelorette party was Doug's place they would be there.Comment

Agree about Doug and Julie. I thought they would be there, at least Julie at the bachelorette party. It would have been nice to have little Ari as the flower girl, especially since she's Marlena's great-granddaughter.
Also, aren't Kate and Marlena good friends now? I guess Kate was too busy disposing of Ted or whatever she was doing with him - lol.

Are any of those people listed even related to Jarlena? I mean Gabby is the mother of Marlena's great granddaughter, but realistically, Ari would've just gone with Will and Gabi wouldn't have been invited.Comment

At this point, I'm okay with with characters not attending weddings if they have no involvement in it, especially the gazillioneth wedding for the same couple. I don't see any reason to waste their air time just sitting around. And I don't think it would be considerate to the older actors like Bill Hayes and John Aniston to make them sit around all day for something like this.Comment
