CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    Favorite John & Marlena Wedding

    What was your favorite John & Marlena Wedding. I wanted to turn this into a poll, but I honestly don't know how many times they've been married, or almost married.

    My favorite is their first wedding from 1986. It's my favorite for several reasons, it's the only one I've actually seen so that makes it my favorite. Also I loved Marlena's dress, it looked like 1986 threw-up on her, but it was stunning and so was she. It had all the glitz of the 80s, and Marlena looked beautiful. There was drama of coarse, John ended up taking a swim off the pier, but the ceremony was beautiful.

    Also Stayla had just met, Chris K was there, fun times.

    I know they were also married in 1997, but I wasn't watching.

    Almost every wedding on DAYS is a clown show. The bigger ones, clown opera. I watch them in anticipation of a catastrophic interruption and I'm rarely disappointed.

      1986 mainly because I loved the bridesmaid dresses and I loved everything else that was going on during that timeframe. And, Kim's prayer in the church after the wedding is the saddest thing I have ever seen. Kim and Shane are ending something just as RoJohn and Marlena and Steve/Kayla are beginning something. No disasters just really well written stories all around the main event.

        ^^^^^^^^ Days was good about balancing couples. One couple would be just falling in love, one couple was happy and doing well, and one would be going through a rough patch.

          That's also what I loved about it! No need for catastrophe, shootings or serial killers showing up -- just a beautiful wedding with plenty of relationship intrigue happening around the edges.

          This was in the early days of Steve and Kayla and OMG the tension was real. He helped her put on her necklace, and then had the fantasy where he was a handsome guy with a patch. I get kind of teary-eyed at how much he wanted her but thought he wasn't good enough for her.

            LOL. I read somewhere that Deidre Hall called that her "Statue of Liberty" look.

            I'm pretty sure their 1986 wedding was the first wedding I ever saw on Days, so it's the standard i judge other weddings by.
