Tripp was mouthing off the truth with Ciara like a country preacher. The sermon was hitting the mark on Ciara. Tripp and Claira saw how defensive she was to any derogative statement they made about Ben. Ciara immediately planted her lips on Tripp just to make him close the serman. Claire yes, Ben likely not. I think he definitely has feelings for her. But I think a part of him doesn’t feel good enough for him or that she feels the same way. Ben respects Ciara. Agree with both of you, Elle and LWF. Even if he realizes he does have feelings for Ciara, he won't act on them immediately because he doesn't think he's good enough for her. I wonder how much crappy writing for Tripp and Ciara is because they film so far in advance they don't realize how much the viewers like certain pairings and we're stuck with whatever until they get up to date. Just a thought. Surely they have on staff critics that can see the potential.Comment

And I have to add that even if Ben had never returned I did not see any potential connection for Ciara with Tripp. He's a nice guy (as far as soaps go) and nice looking but absolutely not as a love interest for Ciara. Claire - maybe. I just don't dislike Tripp enough to stick him with Claire.Comment
