CLOUDFARE Security Message

Over the past few days you may have received a "Checking if the site connection is secure" message when accessing the site. This is perfectly normal and not cause for alarm.

This message indicates that the server is confirming that the SSL (the "s" that you see in the https before web addresses) security is, in fact, secure. This is not some sort of advertisement and it is not some sort of nefarious hacking.

Cloudfare, which is a provide of web hosting and security, has recently added this layer of security on the Soap Central message boards platform as an added layer of security.

The message may occur any time that your browser makes a new connection to the boards. The message may also stop appearing at any time as the process is further integrated into the boards.

    Very unpopular opinion.

    I enjoyed the park scenes with Rafe and Gabi. Their take on Ben mirrors my own. Then, to jump
    to naive Ciara. Hope, he's never going to leave.

    So you're saying Marlena is wrong and Ben is still sick?
    I know Marlena has issues, but come on.
    I still think that Ben would have a long way to go to make amends to people, but why shouldn't he have the chance to do just that?

      So basically mental illness is only an excuse for some characters and not others. Ben's mental imbalance is solely his fault despite the fact that he had no control over it?

    I think Ben Weston is awesome. I love him with Ciara. They are the most exciting thing going on TV nowadays, in my opinion. I think he truly cares about Ciara and wouldn't hurt her.

    I agree that their take on Ben is exactly what I feel like. I hate Ben and Ciara is very naive right now to ever trust Ben. Ben doesn't care about anyone but himself and he is going to end up hurting her or someone else he is psycho and crazy

    So you would rather have Marlena be bullied by Hope into going against her professional opinion and ethics and send him back to the funny farm? Just because Hope has sold out doesn't mean she can drag Marlena down with her. And I'm glad she stood her ground. Ben has just as much of a right to get a second chance as anyone else in Salem that has commited crimes (Hope included), and at least he owns up to them and is actually making a concerted effort to change.

      I don't think Hope bullied anyone. She requested, Marlena said no, the end.

    I highly disagree. I think Ben cares more about Ciara than even himself. He’s been showing he’s willing to do anything for her. I don’t believe he’s trying to trick her or anyone. I believe he is truly sorry for all the things he did and is trying to be better.

      I agree. Notice after Hope said if you care about Ciara let her move on and the next scene they show is of him saying he's leaving.

      If Ciara truly wanted nothing to do with Ben and never wanted to see him again, I believe he would honor that request. I agree about him willing to leave town for her sake. But if she wants him there he's staying.

    Rafe or Gabi can’t speak on Ben when both of aren’t saint . So Ciara’s naive becomes she trust Ben who’s never lied to her since she’s known & a professional said he didn’t do it

        Exactly, Ben saved Ciara and cares about her, it’s not about how fast he can get her clothes off like Trippy boy right now. Ben has come a long way from that psychotic messed up killer he was with Abby. He has been seen struggling to find his way and right now Ciara is what matters to him. Ben had a horrid past but now he has someone who he can trust finally and somebody he can focus on to make him a better man. Ciara is a light at the end of a dark tunnel of mental illness. So far, he’s doing it.

          And in the real world that might be - probably would be - true. Just as true as any man married to Abby who had sex with his brother - even without being pregnant - would have been gone the next day. Even more so with her history of mental illness - but, this is a soap so we will get the fallout drama from Chad staying in the game. And the people who love them will defend them to the hilt. Just as people enjoy Ben with Ciara. I actually prefer the Ben/Ciara drama - the other one is getting old. But that's daytime drama ...

            It would be odd if most people in Salem did believe Ben's words, Marlena's assessment, or the sane decision by "professionals."

              The reason people won't even try to give Ben the benefit of the doubt is because his last name isn't Horton, Brady or to an extent DiMera . Hope killed in cold blood, Sami tried and the list for the DiMera is too long

                The difference? Most of the characters know who Kate is. Tripp didn't kill anyone. It's different than Ben being paired with Ciara or not being
                held responsible for his killing of so many people. It is just a totally different situation, for me.

              Ben was been held responsible in a sense. Marlena testified that in her professional opinion his mental illness is under control (for lack of a better term). Why isn't everyone condemning her

              You shouldn’t be able to walk the streets of Salem (or any town, anywhere in the world) free when you’ve strangled two people with a necktie. Make that three even though Will lived. I don’t care. He needs to be Behind Bars or at the very least locked in an an institution away from the rest of the world. No ifs, ands, buts, no anything. I mean, come on, get real. I don’t care if he “probably won’t “ever do it again. A slap on the hand is not enough.Please. Get him off the show, out of Salem, off my screen. Because he’s a pretty boy and he’s ‘sorry’ ...that makes everything all better and ok. How’s that for an unpopular opinion. Dodging tomatoes!
              Then again, half of Salem has killed or tried to kill someone and this is fiction so what do I know.
