Heartbreaking news. I was just thinking of her this weekend. Ms. Liz made it look effortless, and the range she brought to the role of Lucinda Walsh has made her a legend. RIP.

      From the NY Post: https://nypost.com/2023/04/10/elizab...ar-dead-at-89/
      and Deadline: https://deadline.com/2023/04/elizabe...ns-1235321099/

A legend and a talent. Watching her work was a gift to the viewer. i never knew whether she was doing her lines or just ad-libbing. Lucinda and John were iconic - and I will always remember their last exchange.

John: Neither of us knows, nobody knows, what the future holds. So why don't we make a pact, you and me. That we have a hell of time a time finding out. What do you say?
      Lucinda: I say, you're on.

      RIP Elizabeth Hubbard.

Loved Elizabeth Hubbard as Lucinda Walsh. When they paired her with Larry Bryggman as John Dixon, they created one of my favorite soap pairings of all time. She was so funny and witty. I also loved her relationship with her daughter Martha Byrne as Lily Walsh. It was truly the golden age of soaps. RIP Ms. Hubbard and thank you for all the entertainment through the years. You were truly special.

                    Say it ain't so!!

Oh my goodness... this news is just absolutely heartbreaking.
                    Elizabeth was a Gem.

When you look at your favorite actors/actresses like they are larger than life, you expect them to be invincible.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Hubbard family. Love and Light 🙏🏽

Ms. Hubbard was amazing! Her Lucinda made me roll my eyes at all the things she would do or say. She was tough as nails and her vulnerable. She lit up the screen whenever she was on. She emitted elegance and stature. Rest in Peace. 😞

She was truly one of the Greats of daytime and she could do it all. Her Lucinda was one of the cornerstones of a great and much missed show.

How sad - what a talent - no matter what shoddy stories were thrown at her, she SHONE through all of them....

Watching her as Lucinda for so many years.....I used to think what other roles she would have been AMAZING in....Alexandra Spaulding on Guiding Light...Dina Mergeron on Y&R...Myrna Clegg on Capitol...no disrespect to any of the actresses that played those roles; but Elizabeth Hubbard would ALSO have kicked butt in any of them.

Elizabeth Hubbard certainly made it look easy. Such a talent! She made Lucinda Walsh an unforgettable part of ATWT. My sympathies to her family and friends.
