    What was your opinion of Tonio?

    I was 50/50. The actor did a good job of playing a sleazeball! I liked him.and Sabrina, too bad he messed it up by shooting Bob.

    The actor (Peter Boynton) was great as Tonio. As far as the character, I wasn't a fan.

      He certainly would have been an interesting villain to bring back to town....he was last seen in Oakdale in 1992.....

        I feel the same way, and I wasn't a fan of the accent he used.

          Tonio was a sleazeball of a businessman. I don't think he was a really good villian (like James Stenbeck).

            I LOVED the character. I think they should have kept him a villain, but not to the extremes they wrote him. Yeah, shooting Bob wasn't the greatest thing for the character. If I'm not mistaken, head writers changed (may have been when Doug Marland passed) and they made Tonio an all-out villain. Tonio and James Stenbeck were two of my all time favorite villains.
