how much dallas time elapses between bobby "dying" and the first episode of season nine? when does pam's dream start?

It's been a long while since I've seen it but IIRC not much time passes between Bobby dying at the end of season 8 and the start of 9. As to when Pam's dream starts it seems to me it started after she&Bobby finished theirbuisness. I'm only guessing but since she wakes and he's in the shower the next morning that's the only logical leap for me to make.

heres what i think bobby went to pam to say he loved her he stayed the night,she started dreamingit was half way threw the 8 season and the whole 9th was the dream i think it ended with her waking up and he was in the shower,theres 2 dallas senses that ive seen alot one was jr being shot and the other was bobby in the shower.but when i started watching them im like bobby your still alive

Bobby "died" in Season 8 (Episode 30- Swan Song).
Therefore, Pam's dream began then .. continued through Season 9 ..
and ended with Patrick Duffy's return to the series in Season 10 (Episode 1 - Return to Camelot, Part 1).

That's it. He&Pam talked and then headed upstairs to seal the deal/their reconcilliation. Bobby got up to shower next morning before heading back to SF to break the news to Jenna. Pam meanwhile,wracked over the consequences&fallout from she&Bobby getting together again,fell off into her year long nightmare somewhere during the night/early morning while Bobby freshened up in the bathroom with a bar of Irish Spring.
