i dont think pam was being week i think she was just being nice, chris should feel the baby kick and i think elena should have seen it.chris and pam just want to be nice to one another for the babies..
I am surprised no one started one of these last night. I didn't get to watch until just now but wow, another great show. I hate that Annie was convicted but am not surprised since she did do it.
I am SO amused by Judith and can't wait to see more of the crazy.
Hate that Pamela seemed affected by Christopher there at the end. I want to see her remain strong against him.
Anyways, thoughts anyone??

Yeah, I just saw something in her face. And then when her father was congratulating her she was definitely emotional about it which is what she said wouldn't happen.

I think there is no doubt Pamela really does have strong feelings for ChristopherThe thing I was most confused about was Anne...she was just sitting there at the defense table with a big grin her face most of the time...especially when Emma was testifying against her...and then she seemed so shocked when she was found guilty...like she never expected it could happen...I really liked Anne in the beginning because she seemed so strong & confident...but now she seems so weak & fragile...almost like she is out of touch with reality...I just don't get why they did such a 180 degree turnaround on her character
...I don't like this new Anne I want the old Anne back

IA about Judith. Judith Light's taking crazy to new heights. I want more!
I hated seeing Pamela Rebecca moved by Chris too because her obvious love&longing for him is starting to melt my icy hate of the gal. Speaking of PR I'm(surprisingly)loving John Ross&Pamela Rebecca. I find myself rooting for them to become a full fledge couple the more I see of them. Junior seems to have it bad for her.I think it's kind of sweet. Cliff's gonna have a royal conniption if/when he finds out his daughter's falling for J.R.'s son. Serves Clifford right lol.
I feel horrible for Annie being found guilty![]()
I'd still like to know why Pamela hates the Ewings enough to get involved in Cliff's shenanigans....she wasn't raised by him......he himself has said he wasn't present in her life enough......Afton certainly wouldn't have fed her all the hatred about the Barnes/Ewing feud......she hated that rivalry as well.....so I would still love to hear what poisoned her against the Ewings enough to do what she's done.....go to such lengths, for a father who has not a fixture in her life growing up........by his own admission.....
She does not hate the Ewings, this is about pleasing her father nothing else.

I still don't see the impetus for her to steal someone's identity, set a plot in motion to break up Christopher and Elena with a 'the wedding is off' email, then seduce Christopher, her cousin, marry him, and get pregnant by him....and spend two years of her life (as she has said) working on said plot....I realize this is just a nigh-time soap, but......what normal person would go to such lengths to please an absentee parent? She is also a lot 'angrier' this season than last....I realize the 'nice girl' persona was part of the ruse, but.....there is a LOT of anger in her this year......and it seems to be directed at the Ewings, not at her father for not being present in her life......
I see what you're saying, GuidingLite. The way I see it, she probably is angry with her father for the years of neglect, but she's afraid to express that for fear of losing him again. So she directs her anger at the Ewings, which pleases Cliff. We've seen that she definitely wants and needs his approval, which is understandable . My problem is that the writers are leaving too much unspoken and unclear, so we, the viewers, have to guess. Maybe if Afton comes back we'll learn more about what happened during the years Pamela Rebecca was growing up and how and when her reunion with her father came about.
It was one of the better episodes so far, because it was coherent and did a single story with a beginning and an ending. I generally don't like Ann or the actress, but she did a good job. Especially compelling was the scene with Emma testifying and how Ann looked at her with such expression.
I think the point of the Christopher/Pamela scenes was to begin to knit them back together as a couple. The look on his face showed it, and so did the look on her face. Pamela Rebecca remains in love with Christopher. And he can easily be tempted back, with those kids.
John Ross's story is kind of too lose -- all he does is scheme.
The worst is the Drew character. What a terrible actor. Any hope they will write off the Ramoses?
annie was really good this week in the courtroom she had all that love shown on her face for emma.and im really starting to like emma shes afraid of momma brown and harris.i dont like drew either, the whole story with the ramos kids is nuts the only kids on southfork was chris john ross and charlie and baby lucas so where did these to come from........imposters as jr would say.............
I think so too, I just don't think TPTB think so, as far as they are concerned Christopher/Elena are the couple they are invested in and they feel we should be too. How they don't see that JohnRoss/Pamela are their generation Bobby/Pam, talk about Romeo and Juliet, especially if Cliff has anything to do with what happens to JR.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I hope,if tptb don't see it/aren't going there, they'll take a cue from public reaction to Pam&John Ross. Maybe the same thing that happened with LH/J.R in original Dallas will happen here on the contiuation series. Initally Pam&Bobby were to be the focus of Original Dallas. Once it became clear to tptb of that show how well received LH/J.R. the focus shifted more&more to J.R. Ewing. Hopefully that's going to happen with John Ross&Pamela Rebecca. I mean I like Chris&Elena well enough but,so far, they're as exciting&interesting to me as reheated three day old oatmeal.
I never liked Christopher/Elena, never saw the chemistry, plus they come off way too self righteous and smug for my liking, would not be sad if they both left town for good.
Well I like them both&would hate to see either of them gone but so far they're just.....there,if that makes any sense.

The major problem with Elena, and it seems to be a combination of acting and writing, is that she is flat and one-dimensional.
The big problem in Season 2 is that she has not had a single scene with John Ross alone. That's a major writing problem. We don't get to see them - unvarnished and raw with emotion. Indeed, except for a little disdain and distrust, Elena has not shown any complicated feelings for John Ross at all.
Meanwhile, the scenes with Christopher and Elena are flat, unexciting, and at times juvenile.
I have to say that in the last episode, Metcalf did manage to demonstrate some real feelings in his eyes in Christopher's scene with Rebecca where they talked about mediation and then he saw her pain from the babies kicking. We saw a complicated set of emotions with Christopher and it harkened us back to the days when he was with Rebecca. Not a single Christopher/Elena had such emotion.
I also have to note that in the last episode Rebecca/Pamela did not seem to much emotion towards John Ross. She basically giving him the kiss-off without the kiss. Their brief moment of sexiness is gone. She doesn't look like she's interested - AT ALL - in John Ross. Instead, she has the same look of adoration in her eyes for Christopher that she had in Season 2.
I haven't really liked Elena at all. I actually think that where most never liked Rebecca, I never liked Elena and as much as I hate to make bad comments about actors I have to say I just don't think she is a good fit in the role. And I tend to think Christopher is mighty bland, he is pretty but still bland.
